Cabinas El Pilón Río Celeste — Hotel in Katira

We found this gem in G maps. There are two independent well constructed cabins and the main house is being prepared for rental soon. Ours was the cabin with 2 double beds with a nice bathroom that had a large shower. Parking is accessible and right outside the cabin. Everything was spotlessly clean. The surrounding garden was beautiful. The lady who receives the guests is such a happy friendly person, we ended up taking her to dinner one night. She also referred us to a private farm where you pay for a sloth and frog tour and we saw them up close! She also took us to a private spot where you can go in the water of Rio Celeste. We would stay here again. A warning for the WHOLE Tenorio area... beware of black flies (bocones), their bites are nasty! Just wear long pants...

Agradecemos enormemente desde España a las Cabinas El Pilón. Nos encontramos de noche en la zona y el alojamiento que habíamos reservado no nos recibió, por lo que tuvimos que buscar uno en el mismo momento. Nos acercamos a las Cabinas El Pilón y muy amablemente el señor nos ofreció una cabina a un precio razonable. La cabina es muy grande y limpia, tuvimos una estancia muy agradable. El señor nos permitió también dejar el coche aparcado en su establecimiento durante nuestra visita al Parque Nacional...

Positiv: Lage perfekt für den Rio Celeste Park (fußläufig in 15min zu erreichen) Besitzer freundlich Zimmer/Bad sehr sauber und neuwertig Kolibris können im Garten beobachtet werden Preis/Leistung stimmt

Negativ: kein Frühstück möglich (Selbst versorgen) kein Kühlschrank Nur Barzahlung akzeptiert als wir da waren Baustelle...
