Cabinas Lumbres del Arenal — Hotel in La Fortuna

At check-in, they gave us a downgraded room from what we originally booked with only 2 beds, not 3 as shown in the description or pictures of the room we booked. So we had to leave but they gave us a partial refund and kept $30 for using their room AC, and my family used the showers while I searched for another room. I thought $15 was more fair but I didn't want to waste even more time arguing with them about it. I'm still upset that we wasted an hour checking in, unloading luggage, looking for another hotel, reloading luggage. Stay down the street at Kokoro instead, they accommodated us last minute. I have to say that my stay at Lumbres del Arenal was the most enjoyable of all. I was looking for a quiet place within driving distance from the city.
