Yadran Beach Resort — Hotel in Puntarenas

The rooms were clean and simple. For the most part, the service was good since the staff always did their best to help with anything that was needed. However, the main reason I booked this hotel was to be able to use the WiFi. Unfortunately, what was not mentioned is that the WiFi is only available from the pool and restaurant, which was very inconvenient. I had work to complete one evening and the pool and restaurant also close after a certain time. The staff tried their best to help me but when I reached out to the manager about this, I never received a response about this. Their booking pages should specify that the WiFi is only available in a specific area of this hotel and if that's the case, the area should remain opened all night at least. I expected more for the price I paid and the fact that this is a "resort and casino." A response regarding this would have been the minimum. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone if WiFi connection...

Rode in on a motorcycle and was drenched with rain so asked if we could use the dryer to dry for our ride out in the morning. Was told sure in the morning when the maids arrive. Only to be told in the morning no that they have a "laudry service". It was lie since i later asked the maid cleaning another room ĺĺand she said sure just let me check with my boss anna and anna saw us and frowned and said NO! The maid put her head down and we just shoke our heads in disbelief. No customer service here and just needed to use the dryer for a few mintues thats all lady. I hope upper managemenr reads this and you get some customer service training. The beds are awful to sleep on , thin and old , pull back the sheets and youll see lots of stains and filth. This poor service is unbelievable. When we checked in, we weren't allowed to see the rooms beforehand and had to pay first. When we checked out, we weren't allowed to go into the pool for 30 minutes. The same person at check-in and check-out. Very unfriendly and uncharacteristic of a receptionist. I've never experienced such poor service in all of Costa Rica; in my opinion, this is the worst hotel in Costa Rica. Our room wasn't cleaned, and we didn't have a second towel for the outdoor pool.
