We purchased tickets online and entered "RENTAL CAR" under the plate info. We arrived 75 minutes early and there was a long line of cars. We bypassed the line and drove near the rental office. I turned into the vehicle loading area and asked the staff if I was in the correct line for the ferry to Paquera. The staff said yes but that I have to update my ticket with the rental car license plate number. Ran over to the ticket booth and waited in line for about 10 minutes. Presented my ticket, which was the stamped, and the plate was written down. Car was loaded in the under carriage of the vessel. The parking lanes are tight - make sure you fold your side mirrors in or you could scrape the walls. We were here during rainy season (June) - the cool breeze at the top deck was welcoming on a humid day. I recommend purchasing tickets online after you receive your rental car - otherwise you still haveto go to the ticket booth. If you have someone else with you have them go fetch the actual ticket while you stay with the car (especially if they are actively loading) since they may move you into the holding area and you donât want to lose your place in line, you can move from the first line to the holding area without your final ticket f your partner is still fetching the actual ticket, and then give them the final ticket as you board. hope that...
