We stayed here for the last night of our honeymoon in Costa Rica and were so pleased we did. It is a very unique B&B. Almost like you’re stepping into a modern art collectors home ! It is situated on a private road (some cab drivers get confused so just be aware you’ll need to give a car registration to the guard to be let in) - every room is unique and whilst it’s not cheap its a special experience. We just wanted somewhere to relax and to just enjoy the local area the following day before we left for our flight. The garden is lovely and there are rocking chairs to sit and relax in. Read moreThe most beautiful and most welcoming boutique hotel in San Jose or may be in whole Costa Rica. You feel at home away from home, only that you don’t have to do anything besides enjoying. The crew is just wonderful, taking care of any wish just by a glimpse. The decoration is incredible tasteful, you can find a selection of Costarican modern artists. The breakfast is the most delicious and the plating is pure food design. If you stay there twice you feel like a family member and you will never like to stay somewhere else!!!! Even to go back home hurts, but with the option to come back to Casa41 live turns beautiful again. Just love that place!!! Highly recommended!! Pura Vida high...
Read moreBeautiful and serene boutique hotel near San Jose but away from the hustle and bustle and craziness of the downtown area. Located in an upscale shopping burb, this 5-room oasis is an excellent location for a night or two stopover either arriving in Costa Rica or right before leaving. The service is outstanding with a special shout out to concierge and waiter Marcos who made us feel at home from the get go. The restaurant for dinner served us a gourmet worthy three course meal with excellent wines and the gallo pinto breakfast the next morning with coffee and fresh watermelon/ginger juice was outstanding. Peaceful, walkable location close to some nice shops and cafes. Very highly...
