We went to the restaurant on Sunday around noon. The place looked nice, but it was very hot inside, which made things uncomfortable from the beginning.
We ordered two plates, one funghi risotto and one funghi pasta. Unfortunately, the service was very slow. While we waited almost an hour for our food, we noticed the owner sitting with his family. All the attention seemed to be on their table, with plate after plate being served to them. At one point, we even saw the owner walk into the kitchen to check on their food. It gave the impression that their experience mattered more than anyone else’s.
When our food finally arrived, it was disappointing. The risotto looked like soup and had no flavor. The pasta was also bland.
Our waiter was amazing. He was attentive, kind, and clearly doing his best. But there is only so much he could do in that situation.
