Bed bugs!

It's the worst place I have ever stayed. The room was dark and the place seems very dated. The toilet seat was dirty, and the towel had a blood stain. The power socket near the fridge was loose. But the worse was yet to happen!

An hour after getting into bed, I feel things crawling on my body and my skin was very itchy. I could not sleep, so I got out of the bed and looked into the bed, and saw at least 20 bugs crawling around. It's just disgusting and unbelievable. I took pictures and videos. I got bitten. It was after midnight, and I contacted the property manager and he moved me to another place. There were bugs in my suitcase too. I was so upset. The next day I had to catch a ferry to Dubrovnik early in the morning.

A place like this should never be listed. Considering how much they charged me, and they can not even meet the basic hygiene standards. It is just disgraceful!

It ruined the rest of my holiday, as I felt itchy for the next couple of days. My hair was itchy even though I washed it several times. Now I am back home, I had to seal all my clothes and belongs in bags, and steam iron them to prevent any bug eggs spreading in my house. I also threw away my suitcase as I have seen a bug in my suitcase since I arrived Dubrovnik!

If you do not want to ruin your holiday, better not book a place like this. I have attached the pictures of the bed bugs here. I do not want anyone to go through the nightmare I...

The host was lovely and very knowledgeable. Recommended beaches and restaurants which we followed and turned out good!. The location was fantastic! Within 2/3 mins walk from town centre, beautiful swimming right outside door. Lovely stone wall in room. ||We really didn’t like the smell of smoke in the |apartment block- it was so strong sometimes and you couldn’t get away. I think the owners who are Croatian live in the block and evidently smoke heavily. We really hate smoke/passive smoking so this bothered us. ||Also there wasn’t enough hot water for us both to have a hot shower which|was fine for us because we were hot but noted it was the same every day. ||The bathroom facilities weren’t great, the shower curtain was ripped and dirty. I kind of feel shower curtains aren’t appropriate for bnbs due to the footfall. There was an|awful smell from the drains? (sewage) which we |found hard to tolerate...

Best host ever! She took care of any issue we mention immidiately, brought us freshly baked cake every day, kept the house clean (even washed our beach towels for us). Great location 2 minutes to old town, 5 seconds to sea, can directly jump into waterfor...
