Restaurant Lavander — Restaurant in Grad Makarska

We ordered the pasta carbonara — the food was decent, nothing special but passable. However, the service left much to be desired. Two young waiters we had seemed uninterested in taking care of the customers. The level of service seemed to vary significantly depending on which waiter you had and where you were seated in the restaurant.

The most surprising part came when we had finished our meal and paid the bill. Instead of simply returning the change or handling the transaction professionally, the waiters played five rounds a game of rock-paper-scissors to decide who would return the money to us. It was unprofessional and made the experience feel more like a joke than a proper restaurant visit.

Unfortunately, while the food was okay, the lack of basic customer service and the immature behavior of the staff made the visit disappointing overall.

Location was quite nice and beautiful, but I’d consider other options before...

My girlfriend and I had an unforgettable dining experience at Lavander in Makarska. Tucked away in a picturesque setting, it was the perfect backdrop for an evening we will long remember.

We were fortunate to secure a table on the pier, which allowed us to witness a stunning sunset. The blend of warm colours in the sky coupled with the serene sound of the waves crashing added a magical touch to our dining experience.

But the ambience isn't the only thing that sets Lavander apart. The food was nothing short of exceptional.

The service, too, was noteworthy. The staff was accommodating, friendly, and ensured that we had a pleasant dining experience.

Given the popularity of this restaurant, I recommend making a reservation at least two days in advance to secure a table. It's definitely a 'must-visit' when...

Lovely location to have dinner - especially at sunset! We have enjoyed the carbonara, pizza and shrimp pasta here and it was very nice - very reasonable prices too. Only thing which was disappointing was the service - both times we went we were waiting a long long time for service after the food was taken away so we ended up asking for the bill rather than staying for desert, but the bill took about 30 minutes to come after we asked twice for it. Other than that, the food was fast to arrive and was good, the seating is great and is in a lovely location. Be aware though that if you like the look of the tables on the pier, you have to eat a separate menu (which is mostly sea food) to sit there - but if you enjoy seafood you...
