Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. The place is very nice, and the camping site is well-maintained. We stayed in a mobile home on the eastern side, close to the sea, from September 1st to 9th, 2024. The eastern side has the advantage that the sun shines here only in the morning, but it is much noisier because all the sounds from the city and the coast come here. We liked this place; we were here last year as well and would gladly return. However, this year we had a negative experience. Many local residents from Pula came to the sea right in front of our mobile home. On the first day when we arrived, there was a group of four people with three dogs. When they left, three young men came in the evening, drinking beer and smoking joints quite loudly. Throughout the week, local people came every day, usually parking in the parking lot next to our car, right at the mobile homes in camp. After such visits, various papers, tissues, a pizza box, or dog leftovers were left on the ground. Since I was curious if anyone would clean it up, I waited for the first three days, but eventually, it was a German who came daily with his family who couldn't stand it anymore and cleaned it up. I think the gatehouse was not functioning as it should. Many cars with Pula (PU) license plates were driving around the area, often much more aggressively than other drivers. I saw that the gatekeeper automatically let all local cars in. On the contrary, when I was walking with my wife and the gate was open, he closed it in such a way that I had to pull my wife by the hand to avoid hitting her. I didn't pay much attention to it because I thought it was a coincidence. However, when we encountered the same situation two days later and wanted to pass through the open gate, I looked at the gatekeeper, and our eyes met. He just smiled and closed the gate right in front of us (we were about a meter away from it). When we returned in the evening, just after 8:00 PM, we witnessed the same gatekeeper not letting a VOLT delivery driver on a motorcycle inside, who was delivering ordered...
Read moreThis is a review of both the on-site villas and the campsite.||What a fantastic location! The whole campsite is surrounded by the sea. The staff were so friendly and helpful, letting us check in for my mum before she arrived very late at night. Everything is either really modern or in the process of being renovated.||There is a bus right outside the campsite that takes no more than 10 minutes to get into town and only cost 1.50 euros each way. I think this runs back to camp until around 11pm.||Also the WiFi signal around the full site was faultless👌||Villas 🏠||My family stayed in one of the deluxe seafront villas. It was absolutely beautiful. Stunning views from the balcony over the ocean. Large and spacious living area and spotlessly clean. Every morning the staff came round to take rubbish and we were asked if we needed clean towels, coffee, bin bags etc. Would definitely recommend anyone wanting to visit pula to stay here.||Campsite 🏕||We have a caravan and stayed on one of the pitches near the villas. These are in the grass. There are also pitches on the other side of the camp overlooking the sea which are hard-standing.||One thing that could be improved is to put a water tap closer to the pitches as we had to walk all way up to the toilet block to fill our water up.||Would 100% stay here again in both villa...
Read moreI'm really perplexed how this campsites gets such a high rating. We booked it like most would've from looking at the stunning pictures on the website.||||First the good: The reception is new and gives an excellent first impression. Secondly, the new restaurant is lovely and serves up very good food.||||For us, that where it ended. The pitches have very little order to them and it comes across as a refugee camp - people pitch whereever they want. Also lots of people littering outside their tents. Not enough electric hookups for the number of motorhomes so most people were splitting the sockets - which caused a couple of tripped fuses. The showers are basically "outside" - you walk into the shower from the outside - they're small and dirty and in dire need of repair (broken tiles etc). The showers also have no seat or a shield of any kind to stop your clothes from getting wet. Not enough laundry facilities for this "huge" site meaning very long walks and waits. It looks like an old Nepolionic fort that that crumbled over time. The dog walk area is dreadful. Facilities that have been forgotten about over time such as the basketball courts. An old boarded over disco.||The beach is nice but very crowded on the flatter part. I'd never go back. I also hate giving my passport out when on holiday but they take...
