Valkane Beach — Local services in Grad Pula

Beautiful place if you walk a little bit away from the "concrete beach" area to enjoy the beautiful natural rock on the north side. There is a Handicap Accessible entrance on the North side. And just beyond that is a clothing optional beach area. There are less loud children and people. My friends and I regularly come and pick up trash to keep this part of the beach clean. I highly recommend that spot for adult but I do not recommend for children or people that have difficulty walking. The Natural Rock can be sharp and it's more difficult to enter into the sea. Excellent beach that's about 4.5 km from the center of Pula. 10 minutes by bus (number 1). There is a mall nearby (for food, shopping, movies). The beach is surrounded by pine trees (you can have a picnic in that area). It has beach volleyball courts, a PAID floating playground for kids, a bar, two sets of portapotties by the trees, showers, changing areas, toilets (attached to the bar). The water is cool and clear. The beach very beatiful and overall clean. There is a wheelchair acces with a elevator and a ramp to acccess the water. On the furthest point of the pier you can just jump straight into the water. There is a limitation set with a rope if you get pulled out into the ocean, you could hold on to that. Or for resting just have a seat on it :) .
