Hotel More — Hotel in Grad Split

This small, comfortable hotel provides a reasonable breakfast but has no evening meal option. It is situated behind extensive car parking for a long, man-made, and not particularly attractive stony beach (with a handful of bars etc.) in the quiet southern outskirts of the city that is popular with the locals during the daytime in summer but offers no nightlife and only very basic restaurant facilities. |Most, if not all guests stay here, not to lounge on the beach but to visit the vibrant and historic Split city centre and/or travel from its ferry port to the Dalmatian Islands. To do so without a car involves a 45 minute walk each way or, more realistically, a 30 minute bus ride or taxi journey that adds considerably to the already relatively expensive nightly rate.|However, if you accept - or indeed enjoy - its quiet isolated position the hotel and its friendly staff deliver very clean, comfortable accommodation. Our ("deluxe") room had a spacious balcony with a sea view so we were less inclined to spend time in expensive bars during the evenings. An unusual PIN entry system mean there are no cumbersome keys to carry around, wifi is good and each room has a safety...

Thank you for an amazing break. I would just like to let you know on checking in and on leaving a receptionist Katrina was so rude to us , on first point of contact and this is the first impression not good. Thankfully everything else and the rest of the staff were amazing in the whole hotel they went over and beyond, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. ||On checking in we thought it might just be a bad day for her but the same on leaving no please no thank you this was at 4.40pm Saturday when we collected our luggage. One bad apple in the team lets the rest of the team down. We had to check out by 12 and settled the bill prior with a male receptionist he checked us out, he was different again he was helpful chatty and respectful. Telling us where we could use the showers and change later on prior to our pick up. We used cash throughout the vacation and most restaurants preferred this. ||We have had a great time the restaurant and cave bar are amazing and we will be back one day. We had an awesome time at this lovely little hotel in Split. We had the hotel arrange our airport pick up ($40 Euro) and it was so nice not to worry where we were headed. We were greeted at the hotel by Zorica how was so friendly and helpful- we love her! Our room was perfect with an amazing view of the ocean from both the living room and bedroom. Rooms were cozy,clean and well stocked. There is a mini bar of assorted items but there is a market right next door so you are set either way. The ocean is steps from the front door and there are several beach bars you can have drinks and food at. If you want to lay out by the beach I suggest walking down a few meters to Mistral- (Radisson Blue Hotel). You can rent a bed or chair and umbrellas and there is music and bar/food service! Short Uber trip will get you to old town in 15 minutes where you can find all the shopping, eating and nightlife you are seeking! We cant wait...
