A great little hotel in Split, which is a place that can be a bit of a minefield with few hotels. Rooms: A good size, quite modern, very clean and had a lovely balcony. Only downside is you need the hotel keycard to have power on which meant the fridge was off when you went out. Other than that the room was lovely. Location: A little out of town which was a good thing as old town is very busy and overpriced. You don’t have to walk far out of town for prices to be more normal and caffe bars are the way forward for cheap drinks. Mythos (scenic with beach views) and Bonsai (round the corner as a friendly local) are two nearby ones which were cheap, nicely located and friendly. The beach is down some steps behind the hotel and has umbrellas. It’s a bit rocky so not the most comfortable. Mistral beach bar nearby is very expensive and plays loud music - it was mostly tolerable, but on Saturday it was unacceptably loud and was intrusive to the balcony. That’s the main downside. Town is about 35-40 min walk along the seafront. There’s also many buses along the main road that are frequent and cost €1 for a 60 min ticket on the Promet Split app. There’s a Lidl too about 10 min walk away from the hotel, which is cheap to get water and essentials from. Breakfast: Quite a simple affair. On offer were: tea/coffee, orange juice, fruit, cereal, ham, cheese, bread and chocolate pastries. The kind man cooked you any egg based dish (omelettes, scrambled egg etc) with ham and/or cheese in. A free breakfast is not to be sniffed at especially in Split so worth preloading for your day. Staff: Very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Overall I’d recommend this hotel if staying in Split for sure. Would I return to Split though? I think once in a lifetime is enough.

Loved this hotel! Very chilled atmosphere and a very nice location close to the beaches of Split. Price included a very tasty breakfast which included eggs how you want them (fried, scrambled, omelette) plus a continental style... bready, cheesy, meaty with fruit and yogurt etc. The staff are super friendly, and there is free parking on site. There are also stairs that take you directly to the beach. It's about a 30 minute walk into the old town of Split (taxi is 20 Kuna per km, so around 12 to 15 Kn). Lidl is near by. Whilst there are great views from all of the rooms, they were a bit spoilt by the presence of half a crane (next door are building a hotel).. See photo. Other than that... Fabulous hotel! (And much cheaper than the nearby Radisson Blue)

Amazing hotel right next to the sea. Overall everything was perfect during our stay and the hotel was good value for money. The beach is accessible via stairs, and is not usually crowded. Breakfast was good enough for the price. The room was very clean and ac was working well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked a room with garden view, I think the view from the sea view rooms must be amazing given the proximity to the beach. To access the parking, you need to drive down from the right side of the building, there is both a covered garage and a few uncovered parking slots that belong to the hotel.

We would highly recommend this small hotel. The owner Domagoj was very friendly and extremely helpful. We had a lovely room with a balcony and an amazing view, it had really good air conditioning and Plug-in Mosquito Repeller. The room was large and spotlessly clean. The beach is very close if you are able to manage a stairs of 90 steps approx, it's literally only 5 minutes away. A fresh breakfast of choice each morning , we really enjoyed the tasty omelettes. There's a lovely coastal walk into Split which take about 40 minutes. Domagoj gave us great advise by telling us, to always use Uber instead of taxis. My brother in law and his wife joined us for about a week also and they loved it, although they didn't have a room with a balcony. The sea is crystal clear and warm but you would need booties for your feet as the beach is stoney. The locals are friendly and everyone speaks very good English. We stayed early October 2024. Many thanks again...

My partner and I stayed here in July 2023. This lovely little hotel is set right on the seafront, and has steps leading from the hotel down to the beach (but they are steep!). Our room was lovely and spacious and clean. It had a small balcony with a table and chairs that overlooked the beach and the sea. The room came with a little fridge and a blackout shutter which was brilliant. The staff were so wonderful - really nice and helpful. When we went out for the day at Krka Park they very kindly let us make sandwiches from the breakfast selection to take with us, gave us a bag to put them in and a couple of bottles of water. It was very much appreciated. The breakfast was nice with tea and coffee, bread, meat and cheese, fruit and yoghurts.  But my partner and I opted for scrambled egg on toast which was very nice. We only stayed for 2 nights, but the hotel and their staff made us feel very welcome and we would definitely come...
