Read moreWe were at the Radisson hotel and decided to go down to see the beach bar and take a swim. First, I must mention that the entire bar is truly beautiful and very well done; wood and white materials are really nice choice. Around us, there were many groups of guys and girls separately celebrating bachelor and bachelorette parties (singing loudly, screaming, with lots of alcohol and climbing on pergolas, which is okay, people probably came to celebrate and unwind from life). We were on loungers that didn't have access to the sea, which is a shame, but it's not a big deal because we went to the other side of the beach to swim and then came back. Considering how good the bar looks, we thought the cocktails must be excellent and ordered an espresso martini and a pornstar martini. Both of us spat everything out after the first sip because the cocktail was so bad that it couldn't be swallowed: warm, pure sugar, like syrup without mixing and alcohol. We told the waiter, and he replied that the team of waiters is young, not skilled in making cocktails, and they don't have time, so they just mix something quickly. He asked us to try something else, and we took a glass of rosé wine. When we tried the wine, we couldn't swallow it either. I didn't know wine could be so bad and sour, like vinegar. We left the drinks, paid, and don't plan to return. Maybe these very bad drinks and such high prices (a glass of wine, I think, is 14 EUR) are for tourists from America and the UK, but for us locals, they really aren't. In general, I don't think it's fair for locals to pay (also for quality drinks) at those prices. It's really a shame, a beautiful bar but with cheap drinks and obviously...
Read moreNot even worth 1 star. Booked the premium vip lounge area for my friends hen do. Dirty cups found on the floor from the previous day. With sticky decking and ants crawling around everywhere Didn’t get any menus and waiting 15 minutes for someone to come over to take drinks order when we hadn’t even had the menu. The we had to ‘catch the eye’ of the waitress to then get her to come back and take our order. 1st couple of bottles of Prosecco were perfect, nice and cold and lots of ice in the bucket. They proceeded to tell us they had run out of the Prosecco we were drinking and offered us another at the same price. Then turned up with the original bottle and told us their order had just came in. The prosecco was WARM - at €80 a bottle I expect the drink to be ice cold. Do not charge that price if you can’t deliver the goods. Then we ordered food. Sent back once as it was cold, sent back a second time because it was still cold. 3rd time lucky they say - ABSOLUTELY NOT. We watched our food on a service table for 20 minutes with flies landing all over it. The waitress and waiter just kept walking past the food. We had been recording this situation the whole time on our phone. The management team don’t have a clue, very little apologies were given. There is a much nicer, smaller beach bar just down the road, with better music. Would never return here. You definitely need to update your look and your staff need appropriate training. The ‘high end’ service you seem to state on your website doesn’t apply...
