Golden Lakes Rooms — Hotel in Općina Plitvička Jezera

The lady at the front desk was very kind and welcoming. The room was clean and nicely furnished. The location is perfect, very close to the National Park. Parking is free and about 10 meters away from the room. Towels and soap are free of charge. There's an A/C and heating in the room. There's a garden with a swing, deck chairs and a net to play badminton. Breakfast was great, we could have different types of eggs, made upon request (included in the price of the breakfast), it had several really good juices, including freshly made smoothies. The only negative point is that there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom's water pipes. The lady told us that it happens in two rooms whenever there's bad weather and that they're trying to fix...

What to say. We are traveling with our 8 months baby and when we arrived they had everything prepare for the baby. It was the most fantastic stay in all our vacation. Everything is so cozy and nice. And the dinner, wow, is so so good that make me drool every time I remember. But we must point out Andjela, she make this stay so unique as unforgettable. She put all her heart in trying to please the guest and she was so so so thoughtful with our babe. We love so much being there and being with Andjela that when we finish the lakes and starting the trip to split we stop again there and ask if we could have lunch. And of course everyone said yes and prepare a great meal for us. Really the best days in Croatia. Thanks everyone...

Terrible experience, if I could I would rate it as -10 stars.

I had a reservation at this place for one night and I called to check if it was possible to have a late check-in and I was informed that it was possible and I didn't need to worry about it.

Arriving at the property there was nobody at the reception desk, I tried to call the reception and somebody picked up the phone, said that they were not working anymore and hung up the phone on my face. I had no other place to stay because everything was fully booked.

In the end I got a room in the Lyra Hotel, they received us very well in the last minute, so if you want to stay in an amazing place, go to Lyra Hotel, they will treat well you as...
