Guest House Plitvice Villa Verde — Hotel in Općina Plitvička Jezera

Very helpful, hospitable host / proprietor. I didn't realize until arrival that I had made a mistake with the booking, and he made every effort to help me fix it and make things right, even though it was totally my mistake. Really went out of his way to help and make us feel at home here. He gave me detailed recs for restaurants, and exactly the best order in which to visit the various parts of Plitvice national park. The room itself was quite spacious and comfy, with a nice hot shower, which was appreciated since it gets a little chilly in the mountains at night. We had a lovely little outdoor space to relax, and there is a beautiful common area garden out front as well. Parking was included, and we were able to leave our car all day while we hiked & explored the national park, before coming back to begin our drive home. I really can't say enough about how welcoming and helpful the host was. I would definitely recommend this place or stay again...

This little gem is only about 8 minutes from the national park. We went with our daughter and her family and the owner was kind enough to give us the price of 3 double rooms for the price of a double and family room as the family rooms were all booked up. This is a nice serene little villa tucked in with nature all around. A great place to relax .|The owners were very friendly and knowledgeable about the park as they had worked there before retiring and opening the villa. We were told some different ways to go to get the best views in the park. He was right on with his suggestions.||Although breakfast was an additional charge it was very plentiful and delicious. We had asked about getting lunches and the owner told us to make sandwiches and take fruit from what was left of the large breakfast which was great.||I highly recommend staying here and would book here again if we ever go back...

Would be hard to have any regrets staying here. There are a few hotels in this area but this one is set back from the main road so very quiet. The owners are incredibly nice. We came by foot and the male owner drove us to a restaurant and dropped us off at the bus station when we left. And you must try his great breakfast! Really nice guy. You can easily walk to entrance 2 of Plitvice Lakes National Park, not having to take the busy road for there is a well-marked path through the little village, a pleasant walk in itself.
