Pink Inn — Hotel in Općina Podstrana

Again the accommodation was great. Just what we wanted and this time we were able to appreciate the location in Podstrana a little more. ||Evis was so welcoming and friendly as before.||We had the apartment, which is very well appointed and maintained and highly recommended.||The huge balcony with its views across the bay and over towards Stobrec are superb. An excellent place to eat and drink and soak in the scenery.||||We were unlucky with the poor weather which was unusual for May, but we still had a good time.||We walked down the steep slope to Strozanak beach (There is only parking for local residents) and the turned left and walked along the walkway which leads to La Meridien Lav and the Marina with fancy yachts.||Walking to the right there is a concrete promenade of sorts and an unfortunate amount of graffiti.||There is only a small amount of beach, some of it is sand, there is a lot if shingle, then eventually you come to larger sandy areas and then Stozanak marina.||||We enjoyed our time driving around to various mid range restaurants trying the local culinary delights. Unfortunately we could not visit our favourite restaurant because it was not open in May, so it will remain nameless in...

We were staying in Split but left the accommodation (despite paid for the whole time of our holiday) as it was too hot basement accommodation with not enough fresh air and I got ill from air condition which was directly over the bed. Luckily my husband found this hotel. We had room No 4 with balcony and view to the sea. In the room was small fridge and air condition, large wardrobe for storage and kettle for making tea with mugs and glasses. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable - exactly what I needed to get a little bit better. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and just relaxing. We made our own breakfast and went for the dinner to the nearby hotel Eden. The owner and her mum were very nice. The sea was only about 5 minutes walking down the hill and there were many shops to buy what you need incl. pharmacy. Unfortunately we stayed there only 4 days till end of our holiday in Croatia but if we would go again to this area we definitely would...

What a fantastic hotel. Lovely rooms and very clean. Ives the owner was a brilliant host. She was very knowledgable on places to visit and took us to a fantastic restaurant in the mountains nearby. Next door is Hotel Eden and we had breakfast every morning. The guy behind reception was so friendly and helpful and even gave us a free breakfast on our last day. We were overwhelmed by the friendliness of the locals. ||The beach in Podstrana was nearby and beautiful. Breathtaking views of the sunset and great drink and food in the restaurants. ||Split was 20 mins cab ride away. We found it very easy to use Uber and reasonable prices too. The Buses were also very cheap and easy to jump on and off. We went to Omis one day and had a lovely river cruise.||I can also recommend going Klis fortress for a visit which was where some scenes of Game of Thrones were filmed. ||Overall can thoroughly recommend 100%.
