Ingate Hotel & Cafe — Hotel in Gazimağusa Belediyesi

Im changing my previous good review, because I've had 3 consecutive bad experiences. The last visit was awful. 5 of us waited over an hour for our food. Every single dish was bad. The breakfast burger, was not just cold, but the fried onions were refrigerated! That was the case with both of them. My breakfast bowl was also very cold, i sent it back, and they warmed it in the microwave with salad and cucumber still on the plate. So now the cheese is completely unedible, egg rubbery, salad warm. The chicken salad was obviously kept on a hot plate, because, ironically the salad was warm but the chicken was cold. We were starving hungry, and I will eat pretty much anything when I'm hungry. We sent all the food back, because the staff didn't know what to do, just shrugged. We complained, but after a lot of pushing they agreed to send us off with a free take away coffee. Shamefull really. We didn't eat the food, we should have got a refund. We wont...

My partner and I stayed here in September and I cannot recommend it highly enough, its modern, amazing location and extremely clean, which is the most important aspect for us. The staff are really friendly and the gentleman at the reception was so helpful, he knew where to go and where not to go and was always happy to help. ||Its great that there is a tea in the room and the bathroom was a good size, again very clean and modern. ||Breakfast was the same every day, which is my only issue as they could have changed 1 or 2 items a day so its not the same, but the food itself was of good quality and fresh. ||The location is great for all sorts of places either to walk or by car and the supermarket around the corner is really handy for water and snacks. It was such a pleasant surprise to finally find a boutique in Famagusta town with such a high quality service and hospitable employees and management. The atmosphere is vibrant and the location is convenient and close to anywhere. Not forget to mention the fresh-roasted smell of coffee from Gloria Jeans cafe in the lobby just leave you with an energetic morning kick as you leave the elevator. Not forget to mention that unlike few other boutique hotels in famagusta where employees have trouble communicating in English, The Ingate staff were all fluent in english and they have been very helpful accommodating every single need in the hotel.
