Hypnos by bed N' mix — Hotel in Nicosia

Stayed there for 4 nights during a business trip. The hotel is good. The building is new so it feels nice and cozy. Everything was perfectly cleaned and the rooms were spotless with fresh towels every day. A small issue with the soundproofing of the rooms. Especially the room doors that most of the times need a hard pull to close and this is quite noisy. Another issue was the breakfast format. There is a small menu from which you can choose, with some egg dishes, toast, yoghurt bowls etc. I would prefer a small buffet style breakfast with some of the standard options you find in all other hotels around the world. Makes everything simpler and less complicated for the customer. Overall the experience was quite good though. We selected the hotel having in mind the increased traffic during the day in Nicosia, so the location was perfect for us. At a hotel named Hypnos (Sleep), one would expect proper soundproofing. However, we experienced noise from the room above as someone was taking a bath, and it was clearly audible in our room. Additionally, the ventilation system in our room was excessively loud and continued to operate even after we closed the bathroom door. ||The breakfast was disappointing—the toast included ham and cheese, but they only baked the bread without cooking everything together. The eggs were also undercooked. No one inquired about our experience throughout our stay. The only questions we were asked were our room number during breakfast (twice) and whether we had taken anything from the minibar. ||In summary, this is an overpriced hotel focused solely on taking your money.
