Perfect guesthouse for a family vacation. Nice, clean, large rooms. Wifi. The small kitchen. Excellent breakfast. Good restaurant (during summer nice seating on the terrace). Parking next to building. Room for bikes. Friendly and helpful staff. Several restaurants nearby. It's just a short walk to the beach. Near many tourist attractions. Treetop Walkway, forest, hiking and mountain biking. Lipno is a popular destination for foreign tourists - mainly from the Netherlands. In season, more foreigners than Czech tourists. Because of this higher prices than in other places. Negatives: our rooms without air conditioning (in hot summers, very annoying), with open window in the morning road noise. We got good value at our price 1700 CZK. Clean room, good washroom, good ambiance, but stiff beds were a huge minus. Had a fridge, microwave, sink, kettle, coffee, tea, plates, etc which was nice.

Breakfast was above average with everything you can normally expect plus some tasty extras like pickled cheese and more. Breakfast is 8-10 which is a bit late for us and wastes daylight hours for people who prefer early starts.

They offer a 10% discount to their restaurant and we recommend going there for dinner. It seems like the best value for your money and most consistent food in town. We regretted not going there, spending more to get a worse dinner and experience at...

We stayed for 2 nights with a 4 years old. Overall it was very nice. The room was nice, clean and speacious. The breakfast was good. ||||The only negative thing was that the rooms are a bit loud. We have heard all the neighbours speaking (and understood what they were saying in normal noversation volume speech). And the kithen was below our room so we heard some banging, chopping...
