Hotel Maxim — Hotel in okres Frýdek-Místek

We stayed at Hotel Maxim for a few days to visit the area around Frydek Mistek. The hotel room was huge, about 80 sqm not including the bathroom and entre. Staff were helpful and patient. Their English was not so good, but loads of smiles. The hotel is on the city square opposite the castle. Also opposite are restaurants including a good Czech one with an English menu. There is also a local beer (Radgast) which is certainly worth a try. Proving that life may be bitter but beer improves it. There is a big supermarket a few minutes walk...

Heavy smokers live in this hotel and does not have no smoking policy like all the hotels in the square.||I had a Sore throat from the first night ,and clothes smelling of secondhand smoke. Not for me and many other tourists who would prefer to breathe fresh air through the night. Not...

Peatusime seal hotellis juuli 2024 , receptionis kedagi ei olnud kuid meile tuli appi baarmen kes pidas bubi samas majas esimesel korrusel ja ütles et tema teeb check in id ja kõik soovisime kaheks ööks tuba maksime sularahas sinna baarmenile saime toad kätte 3 tuba hommikul üteldi et omanik ikka ütles et selle raha eest on vaid üks öö kas maksate veel juurde või kolite välja kuna me maksime tegeliku hinna ikkagist 2 öö eest ja võrdlesime ka hindasid bookinguga siis ei hakanud rohkem maksma baarmen kehitas õlgu ei osanud midagi ütelda üks varjant ongi kas see baarmen kes ajas ise otse majutuse pidajaga seal asju pani ühe öö oma tasku raha või mis iganes igatahes ei soovita ajada asju nendega meie saime petta !
