Hotel Soudek — Hotel in okres Nymburk

This hotel was a typical european style hotel. Its located in the center of the town of Podebrady (which is small). We were given a gift certificate for the beer spa and it included this hotel. The room and lobby were nice and clean. The bathroom small (only shower) and the bed was a little lumpy. We did not have a view, but it was nice and quiet as it was located the opposite side of the street. I would recommend this location as I think the street is quite busy. The staff was very friendly and very helpful with directions and recommendations. I think they were above average in friendliness. We did have dinner at the hotel one night and it was nice. Can't rate the actual hotel cause we didn't get a room even though we reserved it 3 days in advance and it was confirmed twice on booking. com and we were also chatting via email with a receptionist. Upon arrival the hotel was fully booked, they couldn't find our reservation and sent us to a pension instead, promised us that it will be even better for the same price. We went there, spent 30min driving around looking for it (Pension Dogmar), and it was way more expensive and didn't look good, so we wasted around an hour, had to look for a new place, lost other offers cause the check-in hours finished and had to drive to another city after a non-stop...
