Hotel Adam — Hotel in okres Trutnov

I have serious objections about the work of the kitchen in this hotel. During a few days stay, I once ordered a dinner consisting of pork and potatoes. Two cutlets were served, on one of them at the last moment I found a small metal wire stuck (!!!) and luckily I didn't eat it. I reported it to the waitress, at my request I talked to the cook, who said that the wire(-s?) probably came from a dishwashing scraper or maybe it was in the breadcrumbs, admitted that it was his fault, he saw something but in fact ignored it (!), a small portion of ice cream was offered... Unfortunately, no one was able to tell me if there might have been more of these wires in my meal, so I don't know if the one found was the only one or maybe I ate another. To my repeated explicit complaint at the check-out, the bill for this dinner was canceled, by the way like a compensation as for a simple hair in the meal, but no one cared really about the problem, I felt like an intruder who oversell the matter. Nobody there realizes that such a metal wire can perforate the bowel, shameful! The first night after that was terrible, now I'm living in fear of something stuck in my intestines, every twinge in my belly reminds me of this and i wonder if there will be health...

Check in: Pri prijazde na hotel a oznameni na recepcii ze sa chceme ubytovat, recepcny uprednostnil slecnu ktora prisla po nas, slovami adresovanymi slecne “toto bude nadlho, podte prva”. Pani si nahlasovala polopenzi, rezervovala saunu, atd. co trvalo asi 5 minut, pak sme prisli na rad my a nas check in trval asi 2 minuty. Po 4 hodinovej ceste v aute, ked sa chcete co najskor ubytovat, hned na uvod neprijemna skusenost a tym to iba zacalo.

Restauracia: Restauraciu sme navstivili hned po prijazde, objednali sme si klasiku na ktorej nejde nic pokazit a to vyprazany syr s hranolkami za cca 170 Kc. Cena skoro totozna s vyprazanym syrom s prazskej siete Lokal. Narozdiel od Lokalu vam v tomto pripade donesu rozmrazeny polotovar opakujem za 170 Kc. Nerozumiem ako moze restauracia 4* hotelu predavat polotovary, restauraciu ludia navstevuju aby sa dobre a chutne najedli. Restauracia tazi z polohy hotelu a teda omezenych moznosti hotelovych hosti. Takze to bola nasa jedina skusenost s hotelovou restauraciou. Snidane, k nim iba jedna poznamka, ochutnajte parecky, myslim ze su vhodne aj pre vegetarianov.

Wellness: v hotelu sa nachadza maly bazen s peknym vyhladom, whirpool, kneippov chodnik a 3 druhy saun (Bio, Parna, Finska). Prostredie bolo ciste a velmi pekne, najma vyhlad z bazenu na okolitu prirodu. Bohuzial nefungoval kneippov chodnik, takze ak si zaplatite za Whirpool, chodnik nevyuzijete. Zupan a uterak dostanete k zapozicaniu zadarmo, za pantofle si bohuzial musite zaplatit zvlast 80 Kc. Pokial si platite Wellness pobyt ocakaval by som ze budu v cene ako je to u inych Wellness hotelov.

Pokoje: Boli sme ubytovani v DBL room, standardna usporna izba, ale cista a prijemna. Jedinou nevyhodou su tenke steny, takze sme sa kazde rano zobudzali na budik susednej izby a vypoculi si zaujimave rozhovory. Pre ludi s plytkym spankom to bude asi dost velky problem. Pani uklizecka bola velmi priatelska, vobec sa neobtazovala pri vchode do izby zaklopat.

Check-out: Pri check-oute pan recepcny zapasil s platbou cez sprostredkovatela Benefit Plus, po preukazani dokladu o zaplateni ho nechcel akceptovat a pozadoval zaplatenie v hotovosti/kartou. To som samozrejme odmietol, ale recepcny nechcel akceptovat moj doklad. Medzicasom sa vytvorila rada asi 10 ludi, ktori cakali na Check-out. V tomto okamihu mi recepcny oznamuje, ze si moj doklad o zaplateni musi overit u nadriadeneho, ale nema na to cas, pretoze musi odbavit ostatnych hosti a mam sa postavit znova na koniec radu. Na to som samozrejme nepristupil a pozadoval od neho aby zavolal nadriadenej a doklad si overil. Recepcny zacal po mne kricat, parafrazujem “Nevyrusujte ma a chodte prec, nechajte ma pracovat, cakaju tu ostatni ludia”. Bol som neodbytny a nakoniec nadriadenej zavolal a overil si ze som mal pravdu a pobyt je zaplateny. Namiesto ospravedlnenia, za to ze tam po mne krical na recepcii plnej ludi, utrusil poznamku “Dufam ze sem uz nepridete, Slovaci...myslia si ze im to tu vsetko patri”. Toto bola moja najhorsia skusenost s hotelovym personalom aku som kedy zazil.

Hotel v ziadnom pripade NEDOPORUCUJEM, v okoli je mnoho mensich hotelov, kde vam ponuknu chutnu, domacu kuchynu a prijemnu, rodinnu atmosferu, za ovela...

It’s our second day here and we are very disappointed so far. The location is beautiful which we knew already. We booked this hotel as it said there was children playground. Yes there are few facilities, however they are not looked after at all. The climbing frame had sharp screws sticking out, my son ripped his shorts, thankfully it was just the shorts. The hotel removed them after I mentioned it. We have a balcony overlooking the climbing frame and regularly see dog owners letting their dogs wee on the slide. There is plenty of greenery for them to do it somewhere else. The room is just old and tired, not a 4* at all. We have stayed in 3* that was much nice than this. The hotel just doesn’t take any pride in maintaining the nice appearance, the grass around is just overgrown and definitely takes away from the relaxing feel.
