Pension U Šrenk — Hotel in okres Trutnov

I travelled to Špindlerův Mlýn with a group of 8 friends for a week long skiing trip over new years eve. We chose Pension U Šrenků based on their excellent location in Špindlerův Mlýn and the competitive pricing including breakfast and a three course evening meal each evening and attractiveness of the Pension.||||We were extremely pleased with Pension U Šrenků, the location was excellent for the ski areas in Špindlerův Mlýn, unfortunately there was not enough snow for the ski lift outside Pension U Šrenků to be open but it was a 2 min walk to Stoh where there is 1 run or a 15 min walk to Svatý Petr and a 25 min walk to the centre of Špindlerův Mlýn, there is also a free ski bus available and taxis are very reasonable.||||The facilities were very good, all of the rooms were cleaned daily and were to a high standard. The only thing that was lacking in the bathroom was a bath. The kitchen in the family room was equipped with a microwave, kettle, oven, fridge and was good for preparing snacks or a packed lunch. There was no need to cook as the meals provided by Pension U Šrenků were such good value.||||The food that was served in Pension U Šrenků was very good, breakfast was a buffet served on the table of cold meats, cheese, cereal, bread, yogurt, coffee, tea etc that was varied slightly each day.||||The three course evening meal was of a very good standard, we paid the equivalent of approximately £6 for a three course meal. Soup was usually served as a starter followed by a typical local main (goulash or schnitzel) followed by an ice-cream sundae or similar for dessert.||||There was a ski/snowboard room and a separate boot room with boot warmers which was very convenient.||||On new years eve we had a special celebration dinner that included a feast, a small gift, fireworks and the Pension was decorated very nicely for the event.||||The owners are excellent hosts and the Pension has a real family feeling. They went out of their way to make our stay a very special one and we have only good things to say about Pension U...

Very nice rooms and calm place. Owners are very kind and helpful. There is a very good and typical Czech breakfast. You can use for additional fee, sauna just for you own use. You can have a great relax in sauna room, after all day skiing. Pension is next to black FIS ski slope. There is ski bus stop to Ski Area Svaty Petr in Spindl. I recommend this...

Zum zweiten mal (nach 19 Jahren) bin ich mit meiner Partnerin in Spindlermühle.|Der erste Besuch ist mir nicht wirklich in guter Erinnerung geblieben, da ich echt Pech mit meinen Skilehrern und dem Reiseveranstalter hatte. |Da meine Partnerin aber gerne Ski fährt, habe ich mich an Spindlermühle erinnert. Eine erste Buchung in einer anderen Pension lief schief, daher habe ich sehr kurzfristig eine andere Unterkunft gesucht und habe dieses echte Kleinod gefunden. Die Besitzer sind tolle Menschen und sehr um ihre Gäste bemüht. Die Zimmer sind sehr komfortabel und sauber. Das alles gepaart mit einer traumhaften Lage und einem sehr günstigen Preis. Herz, was willst Du mehr?|Das Skifahren habe ich mittlerweile auch sehr viel besser gelernt. Grund genug die Pension bald wieder zu besuchen. Das nächste mal vielleicht auch schon im Sommer.
