Pension Sola Fide — Hotel in okres Trutnov

Sola Fide is great place to stay either in winter or for other part of year to take a proper relax in Krkonoše mountains in the middle of Janské Lázně nearby a public spa with swimming pool, city center and 15 minutes from Ski resort Černá Hora. The pricing is very affordable and u get very nice vacation for that. It is not a luxury stay, but very nice one. ||||The rooms are cosy, with a lovely view. The rooms are partially modernized, the bathrooms are clean and nice, the beds may be found a bit too firm, but possible to get used to. Personal is able to speak Czech, Polish, German and English. Hotel has small place for kids to play (no animation program), table tennis and elevator which goes as into the floor, where the skis or bikes can be stored. It is not a standard hotel in terms of having a reception desk. In Czech we rank as “pension”.||||There are nice and big breakfast and possibility to take dinners as well, which I do recommend because those are tasty for good price. ||||It is located just next to awesome swimming pool, with sauna and outside hot tubs. As well nearby are good restaurants personally recommend Arnika, just next to Sola Fide. The city centre called “kolonáda” is 5 minutes’ walk with a few coffee places. ||||It is possible to park either at free spots in front hotel or there are additional places to park for fixed fee 250 CZK per 7 days; may easier parking during the winter season, but u can only pay with cash (coins). ||||To sum up, I recommend Sola fide for nice family vacation, especially if u want to stay with a...

Grundsätzlich ist die Pension für ein paar Nächte okay, wenn man sich nicht an dem in die Jahre gekommenen und abgewohnten Standard stört. Das Beste ist das Frühstück. Was mich aber sehr gestört hat, ist die Einstellung des Wirtes bzgl. der zu räumenden Auffahrt zu den pensionseigenen Parkplätzen. Als wir ankamen, war es so glatt und vereist, dass man den Hang wieder runtergerutscht ist und riskiert hat, umgebremst in andere Autos reinzufahren (was im übrigen einem anderen Gast einen Tag später auch passiert ist!). Der Wirt beschaute sich das ganze zwar, aber auf die Idee, die vorhandene Schneefräse einzusetzen, zu streuen oder gar selbst die Schaufel in die Hand zu nehmen, kam er nicht. Dass durften wir, die GÄSTE, für ihn übernehmen!!! Dies finde ich sehr unverschämt und null komma null gastfreundlich! Wer Menschen bewirtet, sollte ein Grundmaß an Hilfsbereitschaft und Anstand mitbringen. V.a. Wenn er für tschechische Verhältnisse recht teure Zimmer vermietet, bei denen die Leistung nicht mithalten kann. Ich würde nicht...
