Hotel Baltaci U Náhonu — Hotel in okres Zlín

This Hotel is very disappointing. Do not recommend to book it. Interior is very old, 50 year style, not maintained at all. Booked the "business room" - bathroom very small, hangers broken, no mirror lights, no fan. Small fridge on the floor, with nothing in it (no minibar) except mould (!) Breakfast: arrived at 8 am, all free tables not cleaned. Had to ask and wait for 10 minutes. Almost all food gone, almost no bread anymore, poor choice of food, actually skipped the breakfast. Sauna: steam room not working. According to Homepage and Information on the desk it is free for all hotel guests from 18:30 - 20.00. Tried to get in on Tuesday again - I was told that on Tuesday its not possible (I heard people in the Sauna) - they confirmed that they have a private reservation for the Sauna that day Girl behind the desk barely speaks any other language other than Czech. This hotel is a gem in Zlin. Rooms are clean, big, comfortable and they offer pillows as you like (soft, medium or hard) as well as they have TVs. It is also pet friendly, have sauna, laundry room for a fee, have very welcoming personal and management, it is in quiet area, so you won't be disturbed by traffic from outside. There is also parking outside. There is a book with trips which you could make around the area and explore not only Zlin, but also Kromeriz or ZOO Lesna. Breakfast is served from 8 am to 10.30 am. And it is tasty - eggs, beans, cheese, salami, pastry, muesli, sweets, 3 kinds of juice, coffee machine etc. Reception could do a wake up calls, arange transport or arrange rental in gym close to hotel or any other ewuioments. The stay was very short based on business needs. In the hotel found everything needed for such purposes: comfy parking, quick Check in, comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Breakfast was very nice considering the stars of the hotel (in some 4-5 stars we were served with 2-3 kinds of fruits, but here there was more than needed even). Room is spacious , the bathroom is even too much , with big bathtub (wish to have such in the vacation hotel). Was surprised with a Kids corner in the restaurant. Upon check out the bills were prepared and well organized - so didn’t spend a single minute extra.
