|We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with my wife and I can say we are disappointed with our experience. |Starting from our arrival we checked in early as we stated before. We were ready to wait till our room would be ready. As we arrive 7 o'clock in the morning front desk clerk told us we have to wait (they were changing the shifts)with an ignorant attitude then she forgot about us till we reminded her that we were there waiting. During the whole stay front desk clerks (especially the one working am shift) were not hospitable at all. No welcoming,no kindness or paying attention to what we say, acting with an ignorant attitude as we needed help. Most important of all as especially safety and security is important these day because of terrorism in Europe front desk clerks has to check our passports or ID's and fill out info. themselves as we check in. But all she did was to give us the forms to fill in without even checking our ID's approving its us. We travel a lot and I think this is one of the most important issues hotels must pay attention to. We were lucky that we got a room half renovated. Bathroom was old but room was renovated. We could hear all the conversations from the other rooms on the floor clearly. It was quite noisy. As we were in the room we heard a customer yelling loudly to front desk clerk that he wanted to change his room because it was disaster what he faced with. Some of the rooms are really old and need big renovation as I see from the whole picture.|Then the other day we needed extra towels,I wanted to call the front desk or room service to ask for towels but there was no sign of any number I could have called to reach them. Then after trying different number I reached front desk clerk answering as only "Yes" in Czech language. I told her we need towels and we got the towels in 1 and a half hours later. We put "need cleaning"sign to our door but no one came to clean the room, change the towels or fill the empty hand or hair shampoo in bathroom.|As we read the reviews on TripAdvisor we were thinking that we would enjoy the stay and breakfast at the hotel. But breakfast was another disappointment. Poor breakfast buffet. I wish they could add fresh and healthy items. |Also most important of all we felt like we were in a funeral house. All the staff at the hotel were unhappy, never smiling or welcoming.|Overall,I wanted to mention the details of our stay that I think it might be helpful for all the travelers. When you get read this review might think that some of the points that I mentioned is not a big deal at all. |But I believe hospitality business is not only accommodation. It is also the staff that brings us the service with joy to make our stay valuable. We all want to enjoy our stay in a safe and positive environment. |For the hotel management and the staff;|Do not get this review as a complaint. Over all the hotels in that region if you want to have quality business, you are the one to make a difference. Spend time on training your staff, appreciate them and make renovations properly at the right time. Bell is ringing...
Read moreWe stayed in this hotel for two nights with my husband while visiting Prague for a weekend. The room was massive, a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. Bathroom was Clean too - the only thing I wish it had was a shower curtain because my husband can't have a shower without splashing water everywhere.. Location was really good - on the underground stop so it's very easy to get to the centre, and also to the main train station. There are many pubs and shops in the area which was nice too. Breakfast was really nice. We had to leave the hotel really early one day so we missed the breakfast but the receptionist said if we had told them a bit earlier they would pack us something to go, which was nice and we will definitely do that next time. In the end of our stay we found out that the owner is also an owner of pur favourite pub in the centre of Prague, which is advertised in the reception area :-) Overall it was a great value for money and we will definitely stay...
Read moreThought best about the hotel is location, easy to get from main train station, also near Zoo which was our reason to visit a Prague. |Rooms r pretty average, good for one or 2 nights, visiting Prague u don't spend much time in a room anyway. The only complain about the room is there were no curtains so was very light early morning.|Breakfast is ok.|Lady at the reception was very helpful when we wanted to find restaurant that's children friendly, she even called the restaurant and booked the table for us.|Over all I would stay again if I go to Prague for one night. Its reasonable...
