Hotel Kanarek — Hotel in Prague

Unfortunately acording to reviews on booking you would never guess that it can be that bad. When we came there the girl on reception was extremely rude and took so long to even register us in hotel. Hotel room was just so dissapointing cuz once we opened the door we could smell ciggaretes and when we asked for change of room they didnt accept.Tv was switching on 5 mins (if it even switched on) and wifi wasnt working at all. There were many other small things which could be normally skipped ( as for example there isnt hair dryer, less amount of towels, very small glasses for drinking..) but the fact that you are giving moneu to soneone who treats you as you should clean their shoes is really dissapointing. Prize for two nights was 2400czk and for this prize you can find much more better and valueable hotels or apartments with all facilites and respect. For us...

It has been a while since I last visited this hotel, but it is one of my favourite. It was very close to the company I used to work for and only about three minutes from the tram station. ||I love smaller places with family-like atmosphere and this was just the right place for me. I really spent many (some dozens of) nights in here and never had any problems with booking, payment processing, food (they were willing to prepare a meal for me even later in the evening) or anything else. Stayed at Hotel Kanarek for 6 nights. My twin bedded room was very simply furnished but clean. The mattress was firm but comfortable. The pillows were terrible and in urgent need of replacement. No kettle in the room. Didn't use the television. The free breakfast was reasonable but became repetitive over the 6 days; more variety is needed. The restaurant serves a limited menu at very good prices. The trams and buses are only a 5 minute walk away. The hotel and immediate area is peaceful at night and so I slept very well indeed.
