I don't have one single bad thing to say about our whole experience with Selský Dvůr, we started planning our wedding half a year ago with the hotel and everything went very smoothly. Of course planning a wedding is never stress free but the manager was really helpful and patient and we had really good communication with him regarding our big day. The actual wedding day was a dream! The space looked beautiful, the table settings looked perfect just how we agreed, the food was delicious, and everyone was complimenting the great wine selection they had on site 🙂 The staff again no complaints, they were all great and very professional, everything came out on time how we planned, lunch, cake, grill, music etc. so we didn't really have to worry about anything except to enjoy the wedding ☺️ They were also great help with the accomodations of our numerous out of town guests, we had a lot of changes during the whole planning period but in the end it all turned out great as they were very patient with us with confirming the final number of rooms and dates for each one of them. As far as I know our guests loved the rooms and the service in the hotel 😁 All in all, great experience, big thanks to everyone who helped make our wedding such a special and memorable day!! ❤️🙂❤️...
Read moreHaving never been to the Czech Republic we had no idea what to expect. This was our first and only stop in the country, unfortunately, but we loved it. The hotel is clean, well equipped, the staff is helpful and can speak good English (for we who cannot speak Czech) and the rooms are spacious and modern. With the bus service at the front door and trains only a few minutes walk away, and free parking in the grounds there is much less reason to stay closer into central Prague. The restaurant in the hotel is very good and the breakfast provided as part of the quite modest room charge is absolutely brilliant! As with everywhere we’ve been in Europe so far the coffee is the weak spot, but it is drinkable. Someone here as a fetishising with water wheels, but that is really a nice quirk. In the evenings the shell in the courtyard restaurant runs, and there are schematics and drawings of Walter wheels all through the other side of the restaurant where we had breakfast each morning. Great...
Read moreThe hotelrooms are very nice and clean. The hotelstaff is also friendly and nice, althought their level of english and any other understandable languages is not great. The breakfast is nothing get excited about. There are different czech cake and salats. There is also a restaurant within the hotel. Here the food is very high quality. Most of the menu is tradional czech cuisine, for example the roastbeef, which I would not recommed. There is a brown sauce and whipped cream. There is also some weird white bread. The snitzel is not very interesting, clearly from frozen and the fries too. The lemonade they had was probably the best I have ever had. The staff the first night was very nice, friendly and attentiv, however the staff the night after wasnt any of those things. They seemed arrogant, not very friendly and in a...
