Naranjo Hotel Boutique — Hotel in Higüey

It is a nice boutique hotel enjoyed the decor. The room was cozy. If you’re visiting Punta Cana I would advise that you just stay right in Punta Cana because none of the excursions offer pick up from this hotel. The parking here is very limited so you may have to park on the street which could have you nervous about leaving the car parked on the side of the street but they do have security over night so I’d suggest just getting up in the morning and moving it into a spot if available. They do not have wash cloths only hand towels and bath towels so if you’re use to showering with a wash cloth be sure to pack your own. I was in a room right behind the service desk and they play music well into the early morning hours which may have an impact on your sleeping. One of the young ladies who worked the desk at night speaks a little English but be sure to learn a little Spanish because you’ll definitely need it. The young lady even assisted us with having snacks delivered to us which was a big help because we weren’t sure about taking the walk to one of the little store at night. The items in the mini bar aren’t free and comes with a charge, I did like that they had a sign in the room in both English and Spanish letting you know WiFi codes and about mini bar items. Where to start...I've stayed at many different hotels in the Domincan Repúblic...but this hotel...wow, I wish I could add another star or two. It was very quiet, perfectly located across the street from the Basilica and close to the hospital. The hotel is small, but perfect! Rooms and hotel itself were spotless, extremely comfortable, the staff were friendly, welcoming, helpful, very attentative. Every staff member had a smile, and a "Hola"! Bed was incredible, soo comfortable. Certainly beyond my expectations. Breakfast included, delivered to room with a smile! We have already planned another stay at Naranjo Hotel Boutique. Great gratitude for the help and understanding of all the staff and the owner for their assistance. I have not encountered such service and empathy anywhere in the world. Our choice of this hotel turned out to be the best choice so far. No one will leave unsatisfied. The breakfasts, the room, and the atmosphere are rare and I most sincerely recommend this hotel. Only people with such a big heart should receive and offer their services like you and your Hotel. Such understanding of a sick person and the help given can only be given by another good person.
