We're actually staying here now, but I didn't want to wait to post my review. Up front, a pretty solid stay for the price and we're a happy family of 3 (2 adults and a 3-year-old).||Negatives first: We were supposed to receive a pick-up but that didn't happen. We ended up taking a taxi for $35USD. We didn't have hot water our first night and our lights didn't work in the master bedroom, but when we let the front office know the next morning they got an electrician out to fix the problems the next day. ||Positives: Every single employee is helpful and kind. Our room was what we expected and any problems or questions we had were resolved by the front office. Our 3-year-old ran a temperature and one of the young ladies at the front desk wrote a note in Spanish for what we needed to take to the Pharmacy down the street. The bartender by the pool makes great drinks and the pool itself as well as the area is clean and well kept. Great locayion as it's close to a supermarket and mall (10 minute walk), a good pizzeria, bodega, gas station, and pharmacy (2 minute walk), and maybe 15 minutes to the beach.||Kitchen comes equipped with a refrigerator and gas stove top. We had two bathrooms and two bedrooms. The second bedroom only had sheets on it and master bedroom had a sheet and light comfortor. Our patio was nice and the sliding glass doors opened on both sides of the apartment for a cross breeze. There was also a room air conditioner in both bedrooms. A flat screen TV with lots of channel options in the main room. This is an apartment and not a full-service resort so expect to either take out the trash and clean yourself or pay someone to do it. We borrowed a broom and mop from the front desk and returned them when done.||Again, very happy with our stay and we only marked it down from a 5-star because of the little nuances the first day and the airport confusion. We would...
Read moreI stayed at this location through reccomendations from a friend, however, my family and I received a horrible customer service. We were constantly harrassed by a Haitian employee and the Cuban lady who thought she ran the place. My children felt unsafe there. There were no any towels nor the necessary kitchenware for us to enjoy our stay. The air conditioner and bathroom was broken in the Master bedroom. The doors would not lock causing us to feel very unsafe at night. The refrigerator would not be cold, causing many diary itens to spoil. The recepetion area is very racist and would not give us proper instructions of anything. They just want their money and that is the only time they will speak to the residents. They have a weird way of charging for electricity. It is very unethical. I was overcharged for electricity which is unbelieveable if the applicances did not work. I will never visit this horrible place again. If you want to be subjected to be looked down, overcharged, and reside in a place were nothing works, then this is the place for you. Definitely not for me...
Read moreSo I stayed there in February and it was the worst place I have ever stayed. The staff was always asking for tips. The assistant manager Jabe was really rude and the manager Roberto was even worse. He is a racist and has an anger problem. The apartment was so dirty with no WiFi, the air conditioners didn’t work and we had to pay for our electricity yes pay for our electricity. We had to ask numerous times for towels and the maids did a horrible job taking an hour lunch break while not having our place clean. There is no security as the gates don’t work. We did not...
