😊: Very close to the airport

Cheap. 😢: The internet, it would randomly disconnect or be really slow, I got moved into a bigger room with was great at first but in the room I couldn’t connect to the internet unless I was standing right next to the wall which wasn’t great.

One day the internet was so bad for me that I just went to the airport and used the internet there as that was easier than staying in my room.

The other issue was how loud it was, this of course is not the fault of the hotel. It’s right outside a bus depo and every night you can hear the busses and it’s very loud, this was happening around 3/4am aswell which made it really annoying to sleep, you can also hear the traffic. It wasn’t as bad when I moved to another room but I could still hear the busses I think it depends on where...

😊: This hotel was great for our stop over at Guayaquil airport. It is very close to the airport footbridge. We arrived at 2am so we got a $5 taxi to the hotel but the following morning we walked in the daylight back to the airport. It has basic rooms but for the price it was perfect for our stopover so that we could get some sleep before our next flight. It has working aircon, hot showers and a 24-hour front desk. When we asked if we could purchase some water, they even gave us two bottles for free. Staff were great.. 😢: For the price and proximity to the airport, there was nothing we didn't really like. THERE’S NO POINT IN STAYING HERE UNLESS YOU NEED TO BE CLOSE TO THE AIRPORT.

The only advantage of this hotel is its proximity to the airport. It’s literally a 5–7 minute walk to the check-in counter. And that’s where the positives end.

Now for the downsides: right outside the windows, there’s a bus station where buses idle with their engines running until late at night. You’ll be breathing in exhaust fumes, listening to noise, honking, and loud conversations between drivers. The hotel also has no air conditioning. No hot water. Weak Wi-Fi.
