Hostal Andry — Hotel in Parroquia Puerto Baquerizo Moreno

I stayed here alone and felt safe.

📌Location is in a good area- very close to restaurants and the main part of town.

The family here that runs it is very friendly- I had a lot of difficulties getting cash out of the ATMs to pay for my stay and they understood my situation and let me pay later on during my stay.

🚿Shower had hot water. Room was cleaned daily.

Only complaint was that the rooms could use some more soundproofing but it’s an old building. I played white noise while I was sleeping + wore ear plugs which helped a lot.

✅ I went to the Galapagos Islands to explore them for 5 weeks, first I arrived in San Cristobal and stayed in this hostel that is right in the center. They showed me several rooms, all spacious and with en-suite bathrooms. Select one although I actually liked all of them. In the corridor there is a fountain with hot and cold water, perfect for taking my tea to start the day. In the area there are restaurants, next to a hairdresser where I went and it is full of shops to buy food, drinks and souvenirs. Walking 3 minutes you reach the promenade, where there are sea lions everywhere. If you continue walking you will arrive at Mann beach, a beautiful place to sunbathe and spend the day. Everything is close. I highly recommend this hostel for a few days of rest with many options. ✅ Fui a las islas Galapagos para recorrerlas durante 5 semanas, primero llegue a San Cristobal y me aloje en este hostal que esta el pleno centro. Me mostraron varias habitaciones, todas espaciosas y con baño en suite. Seleccione una aunque en realidad todas me gustaron. En el pasillo hay una fuente con agua fria y caliente, perfecta para tomar mi te para comenzar el dia. En la zona hay restautantes, junto enfrente una peluqueria a donde fui y esta lleno de tiendas para comprar comida, bebidas y souvenirs. Caminando 3 minutos de llega al paseo maritimo, donde hay lobos marinos por todos lados. Si sigues caminando llegas a playa de Mann, un lugar precioso para tomar sol y pasar el dia. Todo queda cerca.
