I stayed here at this exemplary paradise for 5 nights and it was the most memorable and beautiful hotel experience of Galapagos Islands for me. From the start- upon booking, I received a warm welcoming online message and upon arrival in person I met a wonderful welcome at the Port. When I arrived at the reception I immediately met the gorgeous owner and her husband who immediately charmed me with their kindness and generosity: sharing immediately exotic Galapagos coffee which tasted so delicious! The room had a breathtaking view of the sea and sand while being immaculately clean. It was very and well stocked especially for a solo female traveller with long hair who needs lots of hair conditioner. The family owned establishment gives you personalised treatment and makes you feel you're the princess of the island! Breakfast was extremely generous and diverse also including home made ethnic humitas on one day! The chef Maria and housekeeping lady Elvia made me feel completely at home and cared for. The owner herself has worked overseas in hotels from the bottom up from herself being in the housekeeping staff all the way to being a hotel owner and chef to guest services- so she knows personally how to run the all aspects of a hotel and how to create the ideal experience for guests. Towards the end of my stay the owner came to my rescue during an emergency moving heaven and earth to land me a seat on the last boat to leaves the island so to make my flight from San Cristobal. I usually plan things on a whim so I was shocked to discover all the boats back to the main islands were fully booked over the weekend leaving me possibly stranded on an island paradise! I had to work in a few days and was so worried how I would make my flight but the owner summoned all here connections and friends throughout the galapagos and found me on a seat on the last boat out allowing me to return back home. If you only know and stay in one place in Galapagos stay in Diana's Hotel Cally! She is the Princess Diana of Isabela she has the beauty of miss Ecuador with the sincerity of an angel and fortified by might of a 5 star General in getting things done! Thank you...
Read moreGreat location, friendly staff, awesome value and best of all - PEACEFUL!!|My family and I stayed at the Hotel Cally for three nights during our three island hopping Galapagos vacation, and it was the best place we stayed at during the trip. ||Location: Hotel Callys location can’t be beat. Close enough to the beach (get an ocean view room on the third floor!), next to restaurants, bike rentals (go to Jordan’s- Mr Antonio and his son Jordon are awesome!!), and walking distance to the pier!! We were able to bike ride to the beach, Concha Perla snorkeling sight, the turtle rescue sanctuary and more!||Rooms: Big, bright and clean. Everyday we had fresh towels, a freshened up bathroom and toiletries as needed. The beds were super comfortable and spotless! My oldest son has a little OCD about hotel rooms (a speck of dust or dirt - especially on. A bed and he’s done) and he was comfortable and happy at Cally!||Staff: Diana was our main point of contact, but everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Whether it was making sure we had enough to eat at breakfast (make sure to confirm you’ve included breakfast to your reservation) or helping us navigate the island, they even gave us a ride to the airport in a pinch!||Amenities: full breakfast (fruit, granola and yogurt, eggs, toast, coffee and fresh juice!), plenty shampoo/soap in rooms, towels changed daily if you’d like, tea/coffee/and hot chocolate if you ask in the lobby)||Overall - great stay and we definitely will come back if on...
Read moreLovely hotel very close to the beach. I was on the third floor with a terrace - great views. The room and bathroom were large with a small fridge. The hotel is very clean. The bed was very comfortable with a/c. There was no wifi in the room since I was on the third floor so I had to use it in the lobby. It is close to everything and especially a little beach behind it with a lovely mangrove and many iguanas. I watched the sun set on the beach there every night. Can walk to Concha de Mar from here - 10 minute walk at most. Staff are wonderful and helpful. There is filtered water to refill your water containers. The breakfast was delicious. Would...
