We stayed here on July 2021. There were 5 of us (2 adults and 3 children - 13,11, and 9). We loved that the hotel was right on the beach and that we could get to the beach easily. The rooms were nice and clean. We loved the buffet breakfast and the service that we got each morning from the wait staff. Breakfast had a lot of options.
The room was a little small for our family (although I will say that the room isn't mean to fit 5 people), we asked the manager if we could do this because we didn't want to split the family up. The manager kindly agreed to let us do this, but when comparing to other hotels we stayed at the room was still a little small.
In general the staff was very nice, but they did try to charge us a really expensive rate for a late check out. Please be aware that their check out time is 9 am, which in my opinion is way too early. After I complained about this, they did give us an extra hour to check out, but compared to the other hotels I stayed in the Galapagos Islands, no one else charged us a late check out fee.
Overall though, we would consider...
Read moreWe had a fantastic stay here! As soon as we arrived, Amy warmly greeted us. She had our (heavy) backpacks taken to our room, then sat down with us to explain the layout of the community. We mentioned some activities we were interested in and she whipped out her cell to book them on our behalf. This saved us so much time! We were island hopping so every second is precious. Amy took all the hassle or worry of our visit and as a result, our short, 2-day stay was incredible.
ROOMS: Comfortable bedding, stunning ambience, efficient AC unit, lovely shower, and towels for both beach and bathroom.
FOOD: The morning breakfast was good and kept us full during our day excursions. The morning we checked out, Amy was kind enough to send us with some snacks because we would be leaving before the breakfast was available.
LOCATION: Central to the town and easy walking to all restraunts as well as the flamingo lagoon. Additionally, the private beach is beautiful. The water was too rough during our stay but we took some amazing photos and enjoyed walking the shoreline...
Read moreWe had a great 4 night stay at Isamar Hotel. The owner is very kind and helpful when I reached out to him for anything on WhatsApp. He was kind enough to offer my husband and I free breakfast, as it wasn’t included in the room we booked. The hotel is right on the beach. Has plenty of loungers, chairs and tables to sit at. Room has comfortable bedding and pillows, ice cold AC, hot water and ample storage. Breakfast was nice and had good options. Our only complaint was the lady at the front desk. I don’t know if it was a language barrier or just lack of desire to help….but we asked for help with contacting a tour company for us, help with adding an extra night to our stay, asking about breakfast options and some other general things that she seemed to bothered to help with. We found her to be of no help to us….but when I reached out to the owner, he was quick to help, which was nice! We would...
