Jewel Maadi Cebines & Club — Hotel in Cairo

It’s is the worst hotel I stayed in , I’m not sure how they rate them 4 stars , here are some highlights of my terrible experience |I arrived with my sisters at 2 am , the room was full of bugs , no internet AT All, literally at all , and I do t have a local Egyptian line|I asked for water and they said I have to wait till cafeteria opens at 9 am ????? |The room was full of bugs and ants.|The staff were super rude , only one towel in the room , I asked for additional towel because we were two in the room, the response came from the housekeeper saying ‘ after you finish from the towel give it to your sister to use it, we only provide one towel per room????’ |Once they started filling the pool with water , it shut off on the cabins , you can’t flush the toilet till they finish? |They’re is no lobby that you can stay in if your flight is late ? |I can go on and on but I will never ever recommend this hotel for any one |Don’t get fooled with the 4 star rating...

We stayed here for 1 night. The staff were all extremely friendly. The view was nice overlooking the Nile. The pool was the public pool of maadi, it was nice with lanes to swim in. L'hôtel Jewel Maadi Cabins and Club||Les bons points :|Vue sur le Nil qui est tout proche avec une roselière en arrière plan et l'animation du passage de barques de pêcheurs et quelques bateaux touristiques.|Relative tranquilité quand on sait que la circulation de la grande voie de la Corniche passe à 30m de là en surélévation.|Proximité de restaurants, lieux de détente, épicerie à 30m.||Les mauvais points :|Le service est désapointant. Si on ne demande pas , on est oublié ( Serviettes, plateau petit déjeuner, nettoyage de terrasse ) ... Par contre , à chaque sollicitation, il y a eu intervention sans délai et avec le sourire.|Les équipements sont défraichis. On est dans l'hôtellerie aux standards de la clientèle locale et pas aux standards du tourisme européen.|Pas facile à identifier pour les taxis, car , vue de la rue, ca ne ressemble pas à un hôtel mais à l'accès à une piscine publique !||L'hôtel est à 25 minutes à pied d'une station de métro en traversant des quartiers populaires. Il est facile de solliciter un taxi car il y a plusieurs lieux d'amusement...
