مركب ريفر River Boat — Restaurant in Cairo

This is one of the worst I've ever seen!

First, the restaurant's A/Cs were not working properly. All people were sweating like crazy while having the food. When I asked the manager to either turn the AC temperature down, he ridiculously said, "it's OK, thats fine, it's all 5 min and then you'll head to roof".

Secondary, the people serving the food were giving piece by pieces when you ask them!!!!! Like "Mahshy", they pick up the smallest one and drop it in your plate. The chicken was SUPER awful!!! Kofta also not sure what beef was this!!! It sounds like it's been cooked a week ago and they served it to you after warming it up!!! The table at the roof like from 1950!!!! Super old and outdated furniture!!! You feel like they're just running the business to let you pay and taking advantage of you ignorance at the reality!

Thirdly, they said the boat would move at 7:30 pm and kept waiting for this. The boat has NOT moved until 08:50 (almost 9 pm) where you literally can see NOTHING fromt even Nile River, at all!!! Complete dark!!!

Would never do it again, and wouldn't recommend it to anyone! Look for...

I stayed for a full day ,first breakfast is not good they try to offer some varieties but quality is not good food is not fresh, breakfast is only available if you have a full accommodation . Unfortunately they didn't provide thr room in the agreed time,it is one of the horrible things there you need to confirm every thing many many times with everyone as they always gives contradicting messages. Sundeck was good i spent a nice time in the morning view is nice , the rooms are small but ok as i didn't plan for long stay , the good thing that the bathroom was clean . Food was not very good with limited varities , the lunch and dinner were almost the same but the show for dinner is slightly better. However having the price into considrtion it can be a good average nile...

اولا انا راجل انتمي الي العمل في السياحه افهم جيدا في العمل السياحي سني ٧١ عام منهم حوالي ٤١ عام في مجال السياحه وبدءت العمل السياحي والله من الصفر وهو دش واشر غسيل الاطباق في أمريكا الي ان وصلت الي مدير الفرانت اوفس في احدي قري بورسعيد السياحيه انا انتمي الي هذه المهنه عن الغرف عندما استلم الغرفه من الهاوس كيبنج استلم الغرفه تمام وبالتالي ينتهي علاقتي مع الهاوس كيبنج لكن عندما اتعامل مع الغرفه اجد محتاج عدد ٢ باشكير لايوجد باشكير في الغرفه ويوجد عدد ١ باشكير فقط لفردين . ولم اجد ميني بار في الغرفه بدءت استدعي الهاوس كيبنج مرتين لاستكمال الغرفه وعند استخدام التليفزيون اجد بطاريات الريموت ضعيفه . أما الخدمه انا حضرت ريفر بوت مرتين مره كنت عازم نجلي وزوجته اجنبيه في غذاء علي المركب وكنت مبسوط جدا انا والاسره قلت اجرب الاقامه فول بورد لازم تكون افضل لكن عاده في المطعم عند وجبه الغذاء او العشاء يضع الويتر علي طاوله الطعام زجاجه مياه معدنيه علي عدد الافراد الموجودين علي الطاوله . طبعا تعتبر خدمه سيئه وعندما تطلب تسدد قيمه زجاجه المياه المعدنيه مش مشكله لكن ضيف هذه الزجاجه علي قيمه الوجبه . أما الموضوع طبعا مش ظريف وعيب اوي طلبت عصير مانجو والحاجه طلبت كابتشينو وبعد الانتهاء من شرب عصير المانجو والكابتشينو حضر الويتر وطلب مني الحساب بحجه الزحمه طبعا قلت له حاضر حسابك كام قال لي ١٦٠ جنيه سلمته ٢٠٠ جنيه وقال لي سوف احضر لك الباقي قلت له ماشي بعد مده طويله حتي انا نسيت شكله وعايز انزل الغرفه قالت لي الحاجه هو دي قلت له تعالي انت اخدت ٢٠٠ جنيه مني والي اين الباقي قال لي انت اخدت اي كانت الحاجه لسه علي الكرسي لانه لاتوجد ترابيزه قلت له اخدت عصير مانجو زكابتشينو اعطاني ٤٠ جنيه . وبعد العشاء سالت زميل له عن الاسعار ٨٥ المانجو ٦٥ كابتشينو قلت له شكرا قلت يبقي هو اخد التبس بتاعه بدري في حاجات رائعه الغرفه فيو النيل بصراحة رافض النوم لجمال المنظر وحرام هذا الجمال نفقدوه نتيجه عدم وجود خبره فندقيه انا مصري واعشق المهنه وعايزها ديما جميله وخاليه من الانتهازيه رغم كده انا...
