Staff: The owner and staff of this hotel are extremely friendly, attentive, and warm-hearted. When we arrived early, the owner kindly asked if we’d like to check in early by switching to an available room. The next day, once our originally booked Nile view room became available, the owner proactively offered to move us back to it. The owner also kindly asked whether we needed a free airport pickup—such a thoughtful gesture. It was a truly heartwarming experience.
Hotel Location: The hotel’s rating might not be very high due to its slightly hard-to-find location. When you’re at the drop-off point, the hotel is on the 6th floor of the building to the right (the one without the small shops on the ground floor). Once you find it, you’ll be happily checking in in no time.
Hotel Facilities: The water pressure is excellent, making showers especially comfortable. Hair dryers are available at the front desk—you’ll need to borrow and return them. The air conditioning works wonderfully, which is a real treat after a hot summer day. Also, the balcony doors in the sea-view room need to be closed tightly to block out some noise, but for us (who aren’t sensitive to noise), it wasn’t a problem at all.
Surroundings: The hotel is conveniently located for catching a ride—just head downstairs and you’re good to go. There’s also a small alley nearby that sells a variety of local foods and fresh fruits. Downstairs, a friendly gang of dogs often hangs around—after a day of sightseeing, it’s always nice to say hello to them when you return.
I truly hope more people will discover this warm and welcoming hotel. From the bottom of my heart, I also hope the owner one day takes over the whole building and turns it into an even bigger...
Read moreWhat an amazing experience! At first the hotel is a bit hard to find but after you find it, you’re in for a magical experience! The reception is so clean and classy and the room is absolutely exceptional. The view of the nile and the sunset is a picture taken from a movie! The service and the customer service was truly one of the best i have experienced in my life, if anything, the BEST. Suhaila, tamer, sarah and umm janah were all absolutely exceptional and kind and went over and beyond to make us feel welcome and safe. They even kindly escorted my husband to the nearest mosque as we’re not from the area which was so kind of them. The food made by umm janah was truly exceptional. From the fool to the tamiyyah, just WOW. She makes one of the best rice pudding i have tasted and amazing turkish coffee. I could go on and on and on about how amazing the experience is. To top it off, after we left the hotel to travel back to london, they sent me a voicenote on whatsapp to ask if we arrived safely. What a great way to create rapport! Truly unmatched. I have only stayed for 2 nights and i will definitely be visiting this hotel everytime i go to egypt. Even thinking about it right now is making me sad that im not there :( i felt at home in Bayan hotel ❤️ Thank you everyone, honestly you have out done yourself. Truly a hidden gem this hotel, trust me, do not judge it by the location of it being hidden, just wait until you get to the...
Read moreIt is a very neat place with a good value of money. The place is a bit far from the center if you wish to spend the trip in the center. The hotel is located on the 6th floor of what seems a multifunctional building of 23 floors. The rooms are clean (it is a new hotel), the breakfast is modest (not buffet), the staff are very very very friendly and nice. For those who want to book with this hotel double check the taxes fees since at arrival it is gonna be applied, this is usually not clarified on the booking applications. Try to book the rooms with the nile view, they are...
