De La Poste Hotel — Hotel in Port Said

I stayed in this hotel for one night during my trip to Port Said. It is a good hotel, centrally located and withing walking distance to main streets in city center. Rooms are pretty basic but comfortable. Be ware that sometimes they have better prices on internet. They said 500 egyptian pounds for a single room, then when I showed them they have the same room at a lower price on the internet, they immediately dropped the price. Staff is smiling and helpful - I could storage my luggage there until the evening when I had a minibus to Dahab. The breakfast is very basic, tea not included. They don't provide towels, soap, or toilet paper which is not ok for the prices...

We stayed at this hotel for one night to see the city. We liked the hotel because of its location near the port, all the sights are nearby. The building is old enough, as well as the interior and furniture inside. There is no unpleasant smell however, the rooms and corridors are clean. Water, air conditioning, lights, fridge - everything is working well, we had no problem. Unfortunately, we have seen a cockroach, but only once. The bed linen was clean, it was comfortable to sleep. The personnel is pleased and attentive, always ready to help. The breakfast included was satisfying as well. Next time we come, no doubt we'll stay here. I...

Find somewhere else. Life is too short for bad service and dirty rooms with no means to clean oneself in the bathroom. Don’t do it, trust me, inexpensive hotels can be run well....
