Al Kasr Sahl Hasheesh Resort — Hotel in Red Sea

Hotel El Kasr is by far the most beautiful hotel in the area – we saw several others along the way, and none could compare visually. The property is modern, high-quality, and very well maintained. The design is beautiful & remember a 1001 night fairytale. Although not everything is fully completed yet (about 80%), the construction work did not bother us at all. You can tell that something grand is being created here and it was interesting to see all the steps. The fitness center is already done and very nice also a calisthenics park outside. There a lot of different pool areas & a swim up bar.

The staff are universally warm, attentive, and always eager to help – you immediately feel welcome and well cared for. Special thanks go to two man, M. Gaber and his best friend & also his manger (name forgotten) from the main restaurant, Ahmed and Yosi from the Turkish restaurant & lobby bar, Meica from the Doughnut Bar, Thoha from the beach bar, the warm-hearted Omar & Muhmad from the chillout bar and the fantastic animation team Sarah, Matthew und Glowy❤️

Culinary offerings are impressive as well: a main buffet restaurant with excellent food and presentation, a Turkish restaurant. a first-class Asian à la carte restaurant, the “Chill-out” restaurant with very good burgers, and the Doughnut Bar with delicious donuts. the Italian restaurant is not really an Italian restaurant at the moment- it’s more a second main restaurant for lunch, but also delicious. Music and Shows are always till 23 PM. You can drink cocktails and more all the time. The atmosphere in the whole area is genius.

The fish restaurant will open in the next few days – something to look forward to. More bars and restaurants are currently under construction. The spa is also not fully finished yet, but in the meantime, free Thai massages are available and highly recommended.

The only thing we were missing: there is no coral reef directly in front of the hotel. However, for snorkeling, you can reach the “Sunken City” in about a 20-minute walk, where you can observe many fish in a small area, but this coral reef is maybe only for the hotel guest there, please check out if it’s possible to snorkel there. (But you can book cheap and very good snorkeling or diving spots that are not far away.)

Conclusion: A fantastic hotel with great potential, already deserving of 5 stars, and for us an absolute hit!

It was good, it was very good. The place, as the name suggests, looks like a castle. It's still under construction, but there are already so many places to discover. The lobby is beautiful, so clean that you can look at yourself in the tables like in the mirror. Large and functional rooms. Lots of space and greenery. Delicious cuisine. I can go on like this forever.....|But seriously: it's a truly magical place. With a unique atmosphere. We all know you return to places like this not because of the warm sand on the beach, but because of the people. I would like to thank them all very much for their sympathy and help in everything. |Heba and Mohamed from the hotel reception, They handle impossible things immediately, miracles take two minutes. Thank you. |Mahmoud and Mohamed from the restaurant are in a class of their own. They approach guests professionally and with a friendly, smiling face. Both take great care of every detail and ensure guest satisfaction. Thank you.|Gentlemen with the same name Mohamed who take care of safety on the beach and swimming pools just thank you, you are amazing.|The owner of this hotel should be proud of the people who work there. Absolutely, everyone who works at this place is exceptional and very committed to what they do. I can't find anything to complain about. Maybe just that among such wonderful people and in such a charming place, time flies by far too quickly.Anyone considering staying at this hotel... there is nothing to think about, it is perfect...

Wir waren vom 07. - 14. September in diesem Hotel. Bereits vorab wussten wir, dass es sich um ein Soft opening handelt und hier und da noch "gebaut" wird. Auch wenn man bei der Anfahrt zum Hotel außen gleich die Bauarbeiter am Gerüst und vorm Hotel sieht, bekommt man drinnen nur wenig davon mit. Gleich bei der Ankunft wurde man äußerst herzlich empfangen und wir fühlten uns von Anfang an wohl. Unsere Zimmer Lagen im 2. Stock im Gebäude 3000 (3212 ). Obwohl nebenan im Spa-Bereich noch gebaut wurde, haben wir hier keinerlei Lärmbelästigung feststellen können. Bei unseren Aufenthalt wurden die ersten Tage die Mahlzeiten noch im "italienischen" Restaurant serviert, da sich noch nicht so viele Gäste im Hotel befanden. Es hatte zusätzlich auch "nur" das China Restaurant geöffnet. Ob Essen im "kleinen" Restaurant oder im China Restaurant, beide waren spitzenmäßig und es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Am 5. Tag unseres Aufenthaltes hat dann das Hauptrestaurant eröffnet und das kann man dann eh nicht mehr toppen. Eine riesige Auswahl an Vor-, Haupt- und Nachspeisen und das beim Frühstück und Abendessen! Hier ist man fast schon überfordert bei der Auswahl. Service war zu jeder Tageszeit mehr als top! Egal ob im Restaurant, am Pool, am Strand, in den Bars, überall überragend. Auch wurden uns ausgezeichnete Cocktails serviert! Generell war das ganze Personal mehr als freundlich! Animation-Chef, Rezeptions-Chef, Köche, Kellner, Roomboys, absolut jeder einzelne/jede einzelne! Ein großes Dankeschön hier auch an Life guard Mahmoud der für die Sicherheit am Pool sorgt. Er war immer sofort zur Stelle, hat Schirme aufgespannt, Handtücher zurechtgelegt und hatte immer ein Auge auf die sich im Pool befindlichen Personen. Auch ein Dankeschön an und den Barkeeper Mohamed Safwat für die vorzüglichen Cocktails ( speziell der Espresso Martini war ein Traum). Ja, im Spa Bereich, am Strand, hier und da waren noch einzelne Baustellen aber wir haben uns in dieser wunderschönen Anlage nicht ein einziges Mal davon gestört gefühlt. Man kann auch die Liegen am Strand so wählen, dass man hiervon 0,0 mitbekommt. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war hier mehr wie top. Ich bin mir aber sicher, dass die Preise nach der Kompletteröffnung (angeblich November 2025) deutlich in die Höhe gehen werden. 5 Sterne hat dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall mehr...
