We are renting a flat in Sahl and we were going to this beach every weekend with the guests discount cards and entrance fee 50 LE. The beach and sea itself is really great. But the food and service lately was really low, though the prices are quite high and you expect to get decent service for that. When they bring you pizza they don't bother to bring any tissues or they can mix up your order with the other guests and then bring you your order cold. If you order Mojito, you will get it in plastic cup and not a glass. If you ask a mayonese to your order they will forget and bring you after you remind them and when your food is already cold. Given that we were enjoying the whole day on the beach we anyway ordered food and drinks there, though food is much better at Shimmers. Last week we tried to go to Il gusto as usually, but were told that now the guest cards can be used only in the presence of the owner. Do you guys know that most of the owners simply don't live in Egypt/Sahl and rent out their units? So now we can't enter with the discount and have to pay the regular price which was increased to 500 LE. I would understand if you just increase the price for the guest cards or set a reasonable minimal charge to encourage people to order, but entering at 500 LE as I am outside visitor....Are you guys insane? You really don't need all these people living in Sahl as your regular guests or do you expect us to pay 500 LE just for the sea while I can go to the free beach of my compound with the same sea and then eat at Shimmers with a decent service? You probably don't know what is proper customer service is and that customers are looking for quality in the first place if they are willing to pay. And your quality of service&food is poor and doesn't cost the money you are asking. Also your showers need maintenance as well as some sun beds. If you want to lose your business you are on a right track. Good...

I visited Il Gusto Beach Club twice, and both times were tremendously disappointing. I usually give places three chances, but this one failed miserably from the start.
Service: Terrible from the very first visit. Staff showed no professionalism or genuine customer care.
Price: It is the most expensive beach club in the area, yet offers nothing of real value.
Food: Very limited options and nothing memorable or worth the cost.
Payment Issues: On both visits, the card machine conveniently “malfunctioned.” Staff never actually showed any technical issue — but magically, after I insisted (and made a scene), the machine worked just fine.
Most recent visit: My friend even tried to pay via another guest’s help and use InstaPay, but the club refused. They kept insisting on cash only, refusing card or transfer unless pushed. This is not only disrespectful, it’s misleading and unprofessional.
If you only accept cash, that must be clearly stated upfront. As a customer, I have the right to choose how I pay — and they denied that choice. This behavior is unacceptable, especially in such a beautiful beach setting.
🚫 I strongly do not recommend Il Gusto Beach Club. There are many better alternatives in Sahl Hasheesh that truly respect...
