In fact, this is my worst experience, the hotel has a good location, it has a good beach with smooth access to the sea and a small coral reef with fish, the cleaners and waiters work perfectly. I saw that every day the territory is treated from insects, which is positive, although it does not prevent flies from biting vacationers on the beach... The worst thing that ruined our vacation from the first day was two nasty salesmens from the small "Sphinx" store located on the territory near the children's pool. These two men persistently dragged us into their store, treated us to tea and then persistently tried to sell us their perfume for such a price that we lost the ability to speak. refused, then they began to demand a promise that we would buy those perfumes only from them and not go to a small store in the neighborhood, we had to go around these people so that they would not see us. The air conditioner in the room did not work. No one responded to my comments in the reception. and the food presentation is simply disgusting, I would cook better for the dogs. The food is all the same in the seven days of my stay here, there was never any seafood except for once undercooked bitter disgusting crabs and cheap, tasteless fried fish, you will not see any fruit here either, except for oranges, melons and tasteless agave, although there are no comments about the desserts, but there is nothing to eat, on the fifth day I got an intestinal upset which continued for a week after I returned home. The hotel is focused on russians, this is the main reason why I would not choose this hotel again, these people form queues for food, behave without respect for others. The hotel is absolutely not suitable for those who cannot watch violence against animals, here you will see how birds are shot, so as not to interfere with tourists eating on the terrace, how monkeys and dogs are tortured in the heat, which are closed in cages, and how they mock a camel on which people are driven for money, also on the beach I noticed how my three-year-old daughter was playing with this camel's poo... Also, it is impossible to relax on the beach because of annoying sellers who do not understand the word NO and try to sell massage services to everyone at exorbitant prices, although if you leave the hotel, you can find all services three times cheaper... I recommend not to use the hotel taxi, as before the trip I was told two dollars and after the trip seven The hotel taxi driver is very deceiving, it is better to go out on the road and the taxi drivers themselves offer their services even for one dollar for short distances. I hope my honest review will help someone make the right decision...!

We stayed at the resort for a week in January and we had an amazing time. The staff were very helpful and always making conversation and finding out what they could do for us. The all inclusive drinks were limited but I would imagine there was something for everyone (vodka, rum, brandy, wine, beer which was 15% only but imported beer was available for 3 dollars) also fizzy and juice. The room was basic but had everything we needed inc. toiletries and fresh towels everyday and a safe that was free to use. The man who cleaned our room also made a point of asking several times if there was anything else he could get us. Bottled water was also free and brought to the room everyday. We were two of very few English people however this didn’t bother us. All the staff spoke English and the hotel provided a currency exchange at really reasonable rates. There are lots of men encouraging you to book excursions with them at the hotel a few of which we went on and really enjoyed however prices really can be haggled down so don’t take the first offer. This also goes for practically anything you buy in Egypt. There were also tour reps based in the hotel for bigger excursions (we booked one to Cairo). The pool was really really cold and I didn’t see anyone in there but I suppose it was Egypt’s winter, I reckon it’s really nice in the summer. The sea however was warm and really clear, also literally 5 mins walk from our room. Everything was in close proximity within the resort once we worked out where it all was (could have done with a map on the first night lol but a friendly bar man pointed us in the right direction). All in all we had a wonderful holiday and could have easily stayed for longer than a week. I wouldn’t have changed anything except perhaps more options of food and drink but as I mentioned we were always full up and had plenty enough to drink lol. Thank you King tut!!

We stayed in Egypt for 15 days in July 2023, visiting several hotels, and I can say for sure: nothing compares to the experience we had at King Tut Resort in Hurghada. I was truly enchanted by this place! Compared to the chaos in other regions, this resort was a pleasant surprise — peaceful, clean, and well-organized. The hotel delivered what it promised, especially considering the fair price. The areas by the pool and beach are great, with plenty of sun loungers (some already in need of replacement). Everything was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and varied entertainment every day. Internet is only available in common areas (reception, restaurant, and beach), but that didn’t affect our experience. The animation team is fantastic! Super fun, attentive, and always inviting us to join games, zumba, dancing, or just to enjoy a nice chat on the beach. The beach bar staff and lifeguards also deserve compliments for their friendliness and helpfulness. Polite and respectful staff. A breathtaking view! Highlights: Very good food Kind, friendly staff who speak multiple languages Reasonably clean rooms (though a bit outdated) Great location, close to the airport and Hurghada city center Many activities throughout the day, ideal for families and kids On-site shops with everything you need Things that could be improved: The beer wasn’t very cold and not of good quality Very small cups for beer, which made the experience unpleasant The pool was too cold The restaurant staff seemed to rush guests to free up tables, even outside of peak season Even so, we had a wonderful experience and we plan to return. I recommend it for families, couples, and friends. Thank you to all the staff at King Tut Resort for making our holiday so special!

The hotel isn't luxurious and we didn't expect it to be a 5 star lux hotel obv, we had read the reviews, however, we didn't think that it would be this bad especially for a hotel that is ascending to 4 stars.

We paid a lot of money to our agency and we were lured into this hotel, saying that we will be given a nice family room, sphinx and king tut are the same, it's very clean etc.

I want to start with the good stuff.

I don't have complaints about the food, it was decent, although we were given nearly the same things everyday, it was okay for a nearly 4 star hotel. indeed, the fact is, especially the desserts were super delicious.

The animation team at nights did their job perfectly, it was an escape from our depression in the hotel, special Thanks to their team, Maksimo and the others, you never failed to make us laugh, great job!!

The sea was pretty near and it was nice, we also didn't have to walk a lot to get to the city's central mall. The location of the hotel is comfortable.

And also SPECIAL SPECIAL SPECIALLLL THANKS TO MS. MAYA. she helped us a lot during our stay, she changed our room from king tut to sphinx. If we hadn't met her, we would be rotting away on our holiday in a not so clean room. THANK YOU. She is so Kind. She didn't hesitate to help us at all. We were blessed by her kind a bright aura, truly, thanks a lot.

And so Here are the stuff that need to be improved.

When we first arrived, things seemed to be okay from the first glance, it "looked" clean, it felt okay. Then, we went to reception to check in. The guy working in the reception was a bit unmannered, he complained about the customers and cursed people, including his job for countless times in Arabic, and he, in fact, hadn't realised that we knew Arabic.

We were then given our room keys in king tut and headed there. Once we opened the door, it was a nightmare. The smell was horrible, the bed sheets were dirty, and probably hadn't been washed for the past 10 decades, there were stains all over the bed sheets. S t a i n s... The furniture was also old. Since There are 3 members in our family, we needed one more bed for me. They had given us a room, suited For only 2 people. They said the bed would be adjusted. They brought the bed. It was another nightmare. I don't want to describe how unhigienic the room was.

We went back to reception and asked for another room, from the man who left not so great of an impression on us. He was literally angry at life itself and was getting his anger out on people. Anyways, we asked for a different room, he angrily gave us different keys, we went to see the room before confirming and signing for it, again, nothing changed, everything was the same except it was on a different floor.

We went back and asked for a cleaner room at least, with clean sheets. The man, annoyed from our complaint, gave us a room on the 3rd floor. He was was literally cursing us in Arabic, but he was looking to a different direction, as if he was saying something completely different and not connected to us at all. He also added that if we come to change the room again, we will have to pay more/extra to get a "better room".

Somehow we got used to our room and bought our own bed sheets.

Then, We went to eat, we looked at the plates, and they were not washed very well, previous generations' meals could be seen if one looked hard enough.

Not only this, We personally, unfortunately, tragically, saw how they washed the dishes without a soap. Just their hand went in + a bit water, that's it.

I mean yeah, you know, we were aware that it wasn't a 12 star hotel in a perfect condition, but at least there should be some basic hygiene and some things need to correspond to basic human needs. Besides the service was not so great, employees will not do their job, unless you pay them extra, unless you give them tips every single day.

Overall I believe that if some of the workers change, the hygiene and cleanliness improves, if everything is cleaned well, and maybe furniture gets replaced, it will be a decent solid...

So we have been to Egypt and stayed in makadi bay before but we’re looking for something more central and a bit more going on. |It was perfect location for us. A few minutes from the marina and the local taxi man at the security desk was great and didn’t over charge at all!!! He would take us and pick us up as soon as we called him. |The shops don’t really hassle you and the tour guides and sellers at the beach take no for an answer first time and don’t keep hassling which was great. |The staff were all lovely and helpful and all work so hard. |Sunbeds are in demand but the staff at the beach will do their very best to find you free beds and accommodate you. |The beach is fantastic with great fish for snorkelling. We spent every day down there. Towels are easily collected at the hut with your towel cards and taken back when finished. All very clean and generous size. |The food was good. Pizza every day at the beach which all the kids seemed to love, the al a carte restaurant was a fixed 3 course but was absolutely delicious! |The main restaurant can get extremely hectic at times which is off putting but again the staff try their best to find you a table. Lots of different choices at every meal time and kept well stocked. |We got moved over to the sphinx hotel as we asked for a balcony as not all rooms have them. They did this with no extra charge. Check in was quick and easy and we were shown to our room. |The room was spacious and clean, big shower. We were disappointed that you don’t get tea or coffee supplied in the room but it wasn’t the end of the world as we went to the mall and bought some. |The beds were big and comfy, air conditioning was great. |We met the owner of the hotel at the beach on the last day. Very pleasant who wanted to hear how our stay was and if there was any feedback on what could be improved. Was lovely to see him show an interest in what guests like. |We did late checkout until 5pm and paid £20 for the 2 of us. Was quick and easy. |Reception is welcoming and clean and the public toilets were always spotless. |The drinks could possibly have been a bit better? Very limited drinks that were included. You could purchase cocktails and beer of branded names. So if you like your drink it’s maybe not for you? |The entertainment team work very hard. The daytime aqua aerobics gets busy and makes a good vibe round the beach. |We didn’t spend any time around the pool as we loved the beach so much but there is a swim up bar. It is only a small area compared to other hotels we have stayed in so sunbeds are very limited. |I got an upset stomach on the first day which was nothing to do with the hotel. I went to the pharmacy there and got some antidal which was very reasonably priced at £3 for 24 tablets. It sorted me out after just 2 tablets. My partner ate more varied food and didn’t get ill at all. We also bought a few bits from the hotel shops and all seem reasonably priced for hotel shops. Especially the one by the barbers and diving shop. |If you are looking for 5 star luxury this isn’t the hotel for you. What it is is a great middle of the road hotel that is great value for money. It is in a great location for us and we would definitely return and stay again! You make your holiday what it is and I honestly don’t understand why some have such negative reviews on the hotel. |Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so wonderful. We appreciate your hard work!!! We love Egypt it is a beautiful country with beautiful people and we can’t wait...

The hotel definitely is not 4* more 3. The hotel is very tired and in need of a good overall beds, air con, furniture, ironing in the rooms, tea and coffee making in the rooms (theres a kettle and nothing else) an added bonus a fridge that you could actually use and not get charged fantastic and definitely free wifi in the rooms. Wifi can only be got in the reception and only lasts a couple of minutes. Overall cleanliness was excellent and cleaned every day throughly. When I go abroad I like to eat the food of the country and after explaining this the staff bent over backwards to help. The shops on site need to let you browse more rather than trying to sell you everything. I can't comment on the alcohol as I dont drink but Gregus (I think that is spelt wrong sorry Gregus) was such a lovely fantastic lad that made lovely milkshakes and non alcoholic drinks for my sister and me. Now the staff. I can safely say I have been on holiday a few times and never in all the places have I been met by such warm friendly staff they could not do enough for us. They are so welcoming and approachable. The staff definitely made the hotel no doubt about it. They all need a pay rise and to work fewer hours. They absolutely love English people and all they want to do is have the chance to speak to you. I would like to say in no particular order has they were all fantastic but special thanks to Ahmed (American speaking accent) on reception your help was invaluable and you are such a warm genuine gentleman. Thank you. Mohamad ( I forgot his surname but he is a white shirt employee) in the sunset restaurant for your kindness and attentive service when we ate there and for the heartfelt lunch you delivered for myself and my sister when she was I'll. Thank you so much. To Hassan on the pool bar that very quickly learnt how to make a beautiful cup of English tea which was always waiting for me and my sister when we decided to stop lazing by the pool. I will miss your smile every morning. Last but not least Mohammed floor 5 attendant what can I say so much thank you for putting up with two crazy English women. This man not only needs a medal he needs promoting, nothing was too much for him and he was so kind and gentle anything we needed he was there for us, Mohammed thank you so much and keep up the good work. All the staff need a mention but unfortunately there are too many of them to do so, with staff like this you seem to overlook the tiredness and fact that there are too many ignorant Russians who stay there. My sister and I will miss all the staffs welcoming morning, afternoon and evening greetings you are all such lovely people. Thank you for making our first visit to Egypt...
