best restaurant in hurghada! we stayed at the hilton but did not book the all-inclusive package as we wanted to try out other food outside the hotel. we tried several in the hotel and in the mall, and out of everything we tried (japanese, turkish, egyptian, etc), green cafe and restaurant simply trumped all. as many praise, the coffee is great. we had the mango and strawberry smoothies, iced cafe latte, chicken fajita wrap, and spaghetti bolognese. the bolognese had diced bell peppers, which we thought was unusual but it turned out to be the best pairing with the dish. the bolognese sauce leans more on the meaty side than tomato, adding to its authenticity. the fajita wrap came fresh out of the oven, the outside wrap thin and crunchy and the sauce oozing over the shaved chicken and colorful vegetable mix. I promised my partner half of my bolognese and him half the fajita, and I pretty much ate all the bolognese without even recognizing it. our server, Haythem, always made sure we were comfortable, and we were pleasantly shocked to get the bill as the whole meal (drinks, main and dessert) barely costed us 300 LE. green cafe and restaurant simply does it all - friendly staff that tends to your needs, food that leaves you wanting more, has great open hours, and is extremely affordable. we just wish we didn’t find this gem earlier...

We found this cafe whilst shopping. It seemed the best option at the time. The prices were reasonable and it looked comfortable and clean so we decided to go in for lunch. Immediately they provide you with a bottle of water but they only give you plastic cups.

Service was Terrible! The waitress didn't speak a word of English, we pointed to the menu for the items we wanted and even though she wrote it down she came back twice to repeat out order. Finally she still didn't get it and another waitress came and took our order again. She got the food right, but my husbands drink never arrived even when he asked twice.

When the food arrived, it looked and tasted nice. The portions were huge, too big to be honest. But the beef Schnitzel didn't come with any sauce so after 2 mouthfuls it was very dry to eat.

We probably made the wrong mistake to eat all fried food because we suffered all night with bad stomachs. I don't know if the oil was old or the food was old stock???

Anyway, I will return again for drinks whilst shopping, but unfortunately...

Excellent find as I needed a snack before the cinema. Popped in at around 1030 and was greeted by a smiling and friendly chap. I asked if he was doing food, as it was a little early and he said of course, no problem, whatever you like. Great start! I ordered the chicken fajita wrap which came with French fries and my other half had a cappuccino. Service was excellent and prompt. The coffee was extremely good and the fajita wrap was perfect. Nicely toasted and well presented. Very tasty indeed. In total it was 142egp including taxes. Pretty reasonable. I visit the cinema here frequently during the winter and will surely pop back in here again. Highly...
