Sitting on the beach on reflecting on a wonderful week away at this fabulous resort, it feels only right to give it a well-deserved 5-star review before we leave today!
The Staff Let me begin with the highlight of our stay - the staff. They are incredibly polite, friendly, and genuinely go above and beyond to ensure you have the best experience. Special recognition must go to Ahmed Sobhy (who works in the Piano Bar and Top Bar areas) and Mansy, Mahmoud Steve as well as all the team members working in and around the adult pool areas, including Hossam the pool guy who was always smiling and super helpful. Their dedication, especially during Ramadan while working 12-hour shifts, is truly admirable. We cannot praise them enough!
We made a point to tip those who served us daily because their hard work deserves acknowledgment. A small gesture like tipping 200 Egyptian pounds per day (roughly £3) feels minimal compared to the outstanding service they provide.
The Resort The resort itself is stunning - spacious, well-maintained, and offering plenty to do. Be sure to download the Blue App, which provides a schedule of daily activities, restaurant menus, and opening times. It’s user-friendly and makes navigating the resort much easier. However, note that booking the à la carte restaurants must be done at the kiosks in the main reception, not via the app. Surprisingly, many guests seemed unaware of this.
We primarily used the adult pool area, which was tranquil and relaxing (as is the overall ambiance of the resort). There were always plenty of sunbeds available across all pools, so no need to wake up at 5 a.m. to reserve one! For those seeking a bit of entertainment, the main pool offered enjoyable activities throughout the day, perfect for an hour or so of fun in the afternoons.
Dining Options The resort offers a wide range of dining options and the food was excellent.
À la carte restaurants: Maharba, Tiran, and Casa Bianca. Main restaurant: Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offering a variety of options to suit all tastes. Payable restaurants: Gokan, Stonegrill, and Gokhan Teppanyaki. Gokan was our favourite, offering spectacular nighttime views of the resort. Teppanyaki was also a fun experience with the chef cooking your chosen dishes in front of you. Just be mindful of portion sizes, as they are quite generous. Beach dining: Tiran transforms into a Tex-Mex and burger spot during the day - highly recommended!
Entertainment The entertainment team, especially Chloe and Emma, delivered exceptional performances with incredible stage presence and powerful vocals. The Piano Bar provides enjoyable evening entertainment, and we were also impressed by a packed comedy show in the Coffee Shop. Behind the scenes, the TUI sound technician deserves recognition for ensuring every performance runs seamlessly.
Activities The resort offers plenty of activities. We participated in beach bowls, which always attracted a lively crowd.
Spa and Fitness The spa provides reasonably priced, high- quality treatments, and the gym is adequate for maintaining your routine while away. For avid runners, the coastline offers a scenic 5km route - just make sure to run early in the morning or after sunset to avoid the heat.
Shopping The resort’s shops offer good-quality replicas of clothing, perfume, watches, and sunglasses.
Special Mentions Claire, the TUI representative, was outstanding. She helped make my partner’s birthday a memorable day by assisting with restaurant reservations before our arrival and answering all our queries throughout the trip.
Final Thoughts I have probably forgotten something and It’s easy to see why so many guests return to this resort. While no place is without its minor issues, we honestly struggled to find any here. It was a perfect week away, and we are already looking forward to returning next year. This is a truly stunning resort with endless choices, impeccable service, and...
Read moreI have never stayed in a 5 star resort in Sharm, nor in any other place, so I cannot have terms of comparison. I can only say that the environment is very nice, equipped with many comforts and the staff are nice and hard working, even if some did not understand English. We asked reception where it came from the ice and they understood we wanted to order ice in the room! Funny parenthesis. During breakfast, the waiters just pass by other tables to ask if they want coffee or something, but not from us. Every morning we had to wait for a waiter to pass by close us to ask him for cappuccino and water and at other times we also had to go to them. We are not pretentious people, so this thing is not weighed on us, simply if you pass by some tables to ask you have to go by all the tables. Even at the club house it happened that the waiters were intent on talking to each other and no one came to ask us if we wanted anything. Like the pool, the waiters almost snubbed us. Only on the beach the boy always asked us if we wanted something. The food was very varied at breakfast, lunch and dinner, there really was something for everyone. Obviously being Italian I can't rate that food as exceptional, but it was good enough and we always found something to eat. Too bad that all types of sweets tasted the same. I had belly cramps towards the end of my stay. We always drank sealed water, even to brush our teeth. I don't want to blame the food, maybe it was just the food change or the air conditioning. The beach was beautiful, quiet, we always found sunbeds and umbrellas, the crystal clear sea and I saw an infinity of colorful fish both before and after the walkway. I think it's very privileged as a location and for those interested in snorkeling the reef here is fantastic. The room was not super new and modern, but as I said before we are not pretentious, it was still spacious and comfortable. As soon as we arrived I noticed that, despite the appearance of it being clean, when I touched the handles they were full of grease and filth. Not good for a 5 star resort. I avoided complaining and just didn't touch them anymore. Every day, the room was cleaned anyway. I would give 5 stars for the beauty of the resort, for the beach and the sea. For the service I would give 3 stars, because I have not seen it the same for all, but for us the important thing was to spend a week in peace, snorkeling and enjoying the sea, so we didn't give it much importance. I say this as other people might give importance to this and leave bad reviews. I recommend the resort in general, but if you are very picky and pretentious you have to lower your...
Read moreMy husband and I went here from the 31st of March till the 7th of April 2024 for our anniversary. If you want paradise, then go here. The staff are absolutely amazing they really do go out there way to make your stay amazing ( even in Ramadan). Down in the hotel shop area there is man down there selling all herbal made products the Egyptian Buddha 😁 he is so polite, down to earth he sat with us for hours explaining his culture, believes and religion we really did learn so much from him. We wished we had met him before we went on the day trip to Luxor as we were so shocked at how pushy and rude the airports were. A bloke even tried to get us and another family for explosives the only reason they let us through was because my husbands back had gone bad, so the other family got a positive swob for explosives 😱 and when I told this bloke we had no tips left he pushed me over as he barged past me. Buddha told us how we should have told security as he was not allowed to touch a woman. It's in their religion as well, so he would have been arrested. The actual guide we had was so knowledgeable about everything he had studied Egypt for many, many years. He was walking around with us all in the desert in Ramadan. We drank so much water that day how he did it without a drink I don't know. Going around the tombs in the Vally of the kings was truly breathtaking. It was a childhood dream come true for my husband and I. Anyway the rooms were so well kept and very clean. The only thing that was wrong in our room was the bed could do with a new mattress it was well worn. We often came back to some different towel art on the bed from the cleaners. We went to eat in the American dinner for our free inclusive meal. It was so romantic with a violin player. The food was brilliant, and the staff were smiley and so polite. The hotel was maintained to a very high standard. The Restaurant was good with so many different verities of food. My husband loved all the cakes 🎂 🥮 it all tastes different. I think things are cooked in olive oil. I'm not keen on the taste, but my husband didn't mind. The beaches were so clean and beautiful. The reef and fish were a dream, I kept saying wow under the water. Although the Moreray eels were very scary 😨 😄 We stayed in the adult section in a swim to me room it was a dream come true. Thank you to all the staff and Buddha for making our dream holiday come true which we only managed to pay for as we won £4000 Heart radio, make me a millionaire. We wish we could go back there with our 4...
