Nice hotel and we read great reviews but once there it was sad to find out that pier for snorkeling was only open from 2pm and morning was closed cause of high tide and then closed again at 5pm cause of strong currents. Hotel was fully booked and quickly realizing the small beach was shared with neighbouring hotel Nubian village that was huge and most of guests were sitting at our beach .. plus umbrellas being just few ..each had 4-5 sunbeds so you can guess ppl were laying on beach next to each other ...so close ... basically on top of each other .. experience worse than on some public beaches ... Another surprise was to come back after an hour when we were meeting a travel agent for organising some activities .. just to find out all towels and our stuff left on the beach on sunbeds were taken .. staff was rude and confused us by telling to check with reception and at reception they told us to check with beach staff who said to check with life guards and who said we need to go to lost and found desk .. when i was telling then we didn't loose anything .. it was taken ... staff were becoming aggressive and impolite... we spent half day chasing for our things in a private 5 star hotel with guards ... this is so sad ...another interesting fact about the hotel .. it's mainly occupied by russians and some Italians and later we found out that some italians were treated with privileges on the beach and when they dont find a free sunbed, they ask the lifeguards on the beach to take other ppl sunbeds and report those personal items as lost and found ... It is disappointing that nobody flagged this in previous reviews that beach is over packed and no enough by far sunbeds ... the pier for snorkeling is only open for 2-3 hours a day at max and lot of Russians and you get harassed by entertaining staff all the time .. and big surprise they give you hotel bracelets to differentiate italians and russians .. such inequality and mistreatment... Also be aware of the room type .. some bungalows are old and bathroom smells horribly of sewage... And if close to pool and main building ... then no sleep til 23:00 ... when we asked to swap for a bungalow closer to sea .. reception told us not possible as they are fully booked... but then later we met another couple who actually got another bungalow swapped from 7* to 8* no. thats close to beach.. Another disappointment is plastic used and lots of water bottles so often when snorkeling.. you see lots of plastic cups .. also we god both issues with stomach so take some medicine and be careful on food.. Never go back and will tell our agent and all friends to avoid this hotel... really sad to have experienced worse...
Read moreThis November, my family and I had an amazing stay at Nubian for the third time. Its location and luxury service deserve all the praise mentioned above, but what’s truly special about this place is the people who work there.||In almost 20 years of visiting Egypt as a tourist in various all-inclusive hotel complexes, we’ve never encountered such a caring, loving, and heartwarming atmosphere.||From the moment we checked in until our check-out, we were surrounded by numerous wonderful people who smiled at us, attended to all our needs and wishes, and overall made our experience truly magical.||We want to express our sincere gratitude to the front office staff, main restaurant chefs and waiters, the management, chefs, and waiters of the Barracuda and Napoletana restaurants, the bartenders and waiters at the beach, pool, and lobby bars, the lifeguards, gardeners, room service staff, and all the other wonderful individuals who work there and make this place so enjoyable.||A special thanks goes to the incredible international animation team: Omar, Polina, Mary, Ahmed, and Nastya, for instantly becoming our friends and making our time at Nubian truly unforgettable. Your overflowing positive energy kept us entertained from the beginning of the day to the middle of the night. The memories we shared with you will be cherished in our hearts forever.||The personnel at Nubian genuinely make the hotel so deserving of repeated visits. It’s always a pleasure to return and be recognized by you as an old friend.||Please keep up the hard work, as we eagerly await our next visit. Lots of love from P,...
Read moreBefore coming to Egypt read too may comments in the Internet – most of them are positive and we decided to check by our own eyes. We thoroughly studied All Inclusive concepts of many hotels. Found that ice cream is free – crucial issue for a family with kids and there is an aqua park! Heated!!!||||Upon arrival room was provided quickly and it was in a good condition. We preferred to stay at the relaxing pool where no music, no animation activities and this pool is not heated. Children spent most of the time at aqua park, which is actually heated. Infrastructures of Nubian Village and Nubian Island are separated but as an exception if we are at aqua park we could use pool bar at Village (drinks, ice cream, bakery).||||All staff are extremely helpful, willing to assist in any question. At the pool bar was funny to chat with barmen – they showed us some tricks making the cocktails.||||In main restaurant tables were always served, bottle of water was on the table, drinks were delivered.||||Compliments to chefs – great variety of food, tasty and we could eat our fingers. Gala Dinner on Wednesday – lots of sea food: octopus, shrimps, fish, calamari, crab – delicious!||||Natural juices we took for extra – 16 Egyptian pound (dispenser juices are not nice). Beer is acceptable. Coffee in lobby bar was magnificent.||||Cleanliness is crystal! Housekeeping staff rub not only our room but public areas as well. No insects at all!||||Weather was nice, +27 but after the sun set better to put on a sweater – too fresh.||||Would like to...
