CONS||I have travelled to Sharm solo and stayed in this hotel for two weeks. I travel to Sharm 4x times a year and therefore have a lot of experience in regards to resorts, customer service etc. This is the first time/resort that I am complaining about everything. ||I arrived at 10pm and check in was quick. As soon as I arrived in my room (10.30pm) the air conditioning did not work. I called reception and they advised me that in 5 minutes there engineer would come in 5 minutes. He arrived at 11:30pm. ||The engineer did not speak any English and was using a translator to talk through the phone. He was telling me he didn’t understand and began checking the TV and lights when the problem was with the AC. I was quite upset with this as I wanted to sleep and was tired from travelling and he noticed this and said to me (via translator) “why are you upset? This is your holiday”. I advised him that I was tired, upset and he arrived one hour after reception advised me they would come. He eventually fixed the problem and he was done at 1am. ||The next day I arrived in the room again at night and the AC did not work again. Again, he arrived throughout the night at 1am to fix this again. When the engineer came, he told me it’s fixed and we need to wait. ||On the third day, I went to reception to speak to the manager about the AC as this was the third time it was not working and he did not apologise and proceeded to tell me that he did not have AC in his house which is absolutely not my problem. He said if you want you can let us know every time it’s not working and we will fix this. He also said to me, what do you expect, you are in a 4 stars hotel. When actually the AC, towels, and safe box issues shouldn’t even happen in a 2 star hotel let alone 4 stars. ||I had a problem with the safe box also. I had this issue three times. Because I had to wait there in the room for them to fix this, I was losing a big part of my holiday hanging around waiting for them. I ended up not using the safe box and hid my belongings in my room. ||All management, including reception, restaurants etc, there’s a lot of them however they do not do anything in regards to working and also supporting guests with their problems/issues. Another issue is that they do not speak English. ||In regards to housekeeping, I had to call reception three separate times, to get towels as the housekeeping did not leave towels. I would wait 45 minutes for the towels to arrive. ||In regards to the food, the variety is small. There’s normally beef and chicken and some fish. The best thing to eat there is the salads and breakfast. Most of the food is cold. They haven’t got enough staff in the kitchen I assume as we were waiting for plates for a long time. There are not enough tables for guests. Sometimes you would be standing with your plate until a table became available. There are never forks or knives. Everyday I went to the kitchen to get a bread knife. One of the chefs realised that I needed this and began giving this to me everyday. ||Animation team is not that good. There is hardly any music in this hotel. They don’t turn this one throughout the day making it a boring atmosphere. You don’t see them walking around speaking with people. However they mostly speak to Russians and separate English, Italians etc. we would see managers walking around receiving feedback from guests however they only asked the Russians never the English. ||If they need to fix or paint anything, they do not use signs which ia important for health and safety. If they’ve cleaned the floors they don’t put a wet sign up. They painted a few benches which I sat on and they had fresh paint and ruined my clothes as there was not signage. ||The decoration of the hotel near the pools and gardens was just left there and not taken care of. The decoration lakes are dirty and there are broken rocks everywhere. ||In one of the pool bars, there was a barman playing around with the ashtray. When I approached him to order a drink, he kept playing with the ashtray and just stared at me. Was not friendly whatsoever. ||Only people who speak English in this hotel is sales, massage people who would speak to me everyday. They were doing this without interest of selling anything as they could see that I was not having a good holiday. ||When I went to check out and asked them to open the luggage room, he shouted at me and said you can go, do it yourself. It’s open. |||PROS||What made my holiday better was that the relaxing pool had about 6x staff members who didn’t speak a lot of English however they were trying everything they could to speak with me, take interest etc and they were the ones who made the rest of my holidays better. This made me stay in this pool throughout the rest of my holiday where I felt welcomed, not separated from other guests and I was able to enjoy a little bit the remainder days I had left of my holiday when the natural way is that a guest is able to explore and use the whole of the hotel and not just a small part where there are some good staff. ||It’s super important to remember the people that changed this terrible hotel/experience to a little bit better experience:||sales: |Nathan, massage man |Ahmed and maxim, scuba diving |Yousef, photographer ||Lifeguards:|Kareen, manager of lifeguards|Karoles and amin ||Bar:|Mahmood ||Restaurant manager:|Magdy, he was very good and came over to speak to me, get feedback and he made the...

I don't know who wrote the reviews before but certainly seems to me we were in 2 different hotel .The hotel is utterly horrible from the rooms the food the service and the so called shows.this hotel only cater for Arab and Russian. There is only one restaurant ..the other 2 were closed.the food was horrible ..after complaining they start to give chicken nuggets and chips but there are so many times you can eat the same thing..only to stop given us as other people wanted the same ..a shamble.no ice cream no slush.puppies one machine for both over 1200 guests meal times was a battle to find a table in a restaurant that seat only 300 persons at full capacity.the queue for the drinks was so long if they didn't run out of drinks they run out of glasses so they used glasses just out the dishwater to put hot drinks as they don't use fridge or ice ..undrinkable ..the coffee in the morning was a container with soluble coffee with a plastic spoon in it so dirty the food was arab nothing international cuisine at all.there waa a pasta station with precook pasta that could only be use as wallpaer paste. The pasta that was left from the previous day was cooked as a oven bake .the fruit was green melon mainly .there was no kids menu at all.also every day was the same all the food repeated for the all 2 weeks few variations but still uncommestible. We went out to eat as we were hungry .the managers are uselless .i did complain took pictures of the room but nothing changed..the room were dated dirty .chest of drawer was broken and so a bed..the room was so dirty one day i found even cockroaches in the bathroom bath tap wasnt working ..the chairs were stained The vents grime and so the shower drain.spend most of the time complaining as the other few english families .the bedouin tent where the pathetic shows took place was an area cover in a cane roof completely in disrepair. The few chairs and tables were damages .my granddaughter sat on a chair and the padded seat came off she fell and hurt herself.1even the show manager was a nice chap the shows that latest about 20 minutes were to be kind amatorial. Belly dancer .couldn't dance as the person at the lap top wasn't even capable to play the music.15 minutes of a magic show that my 7 years old granddaughter said is boring and work out the 3 tricks he performed.another night 2 songs sang by a girl that couldn't sing at all reading the lyrics from a moble no cocktails at all as I said lots of drunken Russian staggering and dancing.ask once for a cocktail..diesel should taste better There are few hard workers ali .butter to mention the only 2 that try to help us a bit don't be fool by the pics .I taught that those were recent but those were when the hotel was radisson certainly not now.other gem bar closing because they run out of cups I cut my toe with a piece of glass in the pool .couldn't use the slides as there is no much water going down so you get stuck all the time ..pointless.drinks machine broke .no cups for coffee...paper salviets..also there are lots of mosquitos of course is not the hotel faults but everyday I did have to go to reception to ask to treat the room as it seems the only things that was eating there were the mosquitos and my granddaughters were bitten a lot . Also security at the gate for no particular reason sometimes didnt let the minibus for the trip or excursion in .one morning luckily i was out the lobby for a cigarette waiting to be pick up for a trip and they didnt let the van in .if i wasnt outside i would have missed the trip keep away from this hotel if you don't want your holiday ruined .on site there is Amar the photographer that did an amazing photo shoot for us ..nothing to do with the hotel and George that own the little bazaar and a particular mention to AYman the JOice rep that organised all the excursions as we try to be out there as much as we could .this hotel is not even a...

Parrotel Aqua Park Resort Avoid at all costs. This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I may well waffle on but we’re still here and have 4 days left. I have looked into switching hotels but decided that the upheaval isn’t worth it for the remaining days. We’ll eat out and go on some trips to get out the hotel. They have offered me a junior suite but I’ve decided having looked at it. Although the two rooms are bigger than the family it only has one bathroom which for a family isn’t great, plus workman were in the bathroom while I looked around and it was in bits so didn’t will me with too much confidence. The operations manger did meet me after looking at the second room to discuss my emails/photos I sent to the travel agent. He was pleasant and was nice enough but I advised him that we’ll make the most of it and put it down to a bad experience. Given no real greeting/guidance on arrival at 8.30pm and ushered into the buffet room as it was closing when all we wanted was the room. Family room, the only good thing was the size. Basin and bath waste broken, still broken 3 days into the holiday. Fridge broken, got replaced on day 2. Room was filthy including the floor. Electric wires exposed to various fittings. Lightning is very poor, no ceiling lights but they did change a couple of bulbs in lamps. Drawers broken and put up bed broken. Door key card works rarely. Meal times are probably the worst. There is one buffet room and it’s like flies around s**t, generally all apart from the English (which there aren’t many) are rude and pushing in to try to get to the dirty and empty warming bins. The food is something that you’d not give to inmates at Holloway. The whole room is filthy, food on floor, drinks spilt everywhere and the tables aren’t worth speaking about. All drinks are served in small brittle plastic cups, they don’t even trust you with pottery ones in your room and you have to make boiling hot drinks in paper cups! Around the pool and aqua park is a death trap. There are trip hazards everywhere from broken bricks to missing gully traps to fall down. Hardly any of the slides we’re working and the ones that were you were left to be the safety team as well as not to let your child be squashed at the bottom of the slide. If you’re lucky enough to get a sun bed that isn’t broken you then need to be even luckier to get a towel. We’ve had to resort to taking the ones from our room. Most of the outside areas are closed so people have to go to one of two areas for drinks. So queuing is a must and there you have to be careful as the floor is like an ice rink with all the water. The whole complex is tired and run down, most of it is closed. I could go on more about it and I’m sure I’ve...

— Have you been on vacation for a long time? — Thank God we're flying back tomorrow. This conversation happened with one of the hotel guests while standing in a long line for a couple of glasses of warm beer. If you don't want to waste your nerves, money, and time, it's better to immediately close the page with the Parrotel Aqua Park hotel. If you still want to check it out, let me tell you what awaits you: - A tired room; for four people, we were given a room with two double beds and two sets of towels. - Staff who can't string two words together in English, let alone other languages. - Daily struggles in the dining area: finding a free table, finding chairs, finding utensils and napkins, no plates, no mugs, lots of broken dishes, lines everywhere, waiting and begging the bartender for a bit of warm beer, standing in line for 15 minutes for an omelet, and much more. All this in an atmosphere of hustle and crowding. - All the food is the cheapest and constantly the same, the menu is sparse. - The feeling that you owe everyone something. - "Their own" people are let through without queuing. - They serve small portions, ask for more, and they refuse. - Mangoes with worms. - No coffee machine — scoop Nescafe Classic with a spoon yourself. And only for breakfast. - No juices, no compotes. - Various smacking and whistling directed at your wife. - Bed linens were changed after 8 days, and only after we requested it. - It took three days of asking to get the air conditioner fixed. - All pools close at 6:30 PM, there are no snacks in the bars, cups can't be taken with you. - Cups are often cracked or disposable. - Beach towels are constantly unavailable. We had some problems EVERY DAY. The attitude of the staff is borderline rude, sometimes even beyond. If you want decent service, be ready to argue and stand up for your interests. But is that what we go on vacation for? Personally, I would have rather stayed home. It's just a disgrace.

Family holiday in April, myself and 2 children. The room was spacious, which is great. However, it's outdated, and we didn't have hot water in our shower, unfortunately, either 😫. It needs updating and an overhaul. Our room cleaner mohamed was great, we woke with a lot of bites which I had a reaction too, he helped with spray and plug-ins to help this, but I had to get cream/tablets from the chemist and spend an afternoon in the room with an elevated leg trying to calm the swelling down. There are no signs of bedbugs, so I think mosquitos. But either prepare to be bitten with pre meds or take something with you. In the 4 visits I've made to Egypt, I've never once been bitten until this visit :-(. The grounds are well kept. There are lots of choices for food. The queues are horrendous, though, and people do not mind jumping in front of you, which is really annoying and rude. We decided to go when the mad dash had ended, so it was calmer and fewer people. There is still lots of food, but less pushing and shoving. The beach is over the road at the sister hotel, parrotel aqua. If you'd like a sun bed, go after breakfast, or after lunch, you may be lucky. And take beach shoes the sand is very stoney/gravelly, however the water is beautiful and you can snorkel too.
