Resort is absolutely fantastic, pool area and water park makes it even more enjoyable for families with children. They were going some renovations and build up jobs which to improve current look, which I believe some guests could find annoying especially if they had rooms next to. Let's be honest egiptian weather is welcoming tourists all year round and all jobs are made just to improve even more what's currently there. |Resort is great; large with access to the beach and coral reefs, great snorkeling without leaving resort. Sea is shallow along the beach but it's actually due to coral reefs, so not the best spot for someone who would want swimming. |A lot of activities during the day and a great entertainment team (getting to Mimo and funny young big afro guy I forgot name 😅) super enthusiastic and spreading energy - Zumba, foam beach party, pool party with warrior ninja, dance shows etc An amazing young people. |Pool area is well looked by lifeguards and stuff, no matter what time they will always sort out chair for us. All guys there are lovely but special star for Mahmoud 👌⭐ Mainly russian tourist here (not sure if they are limited where to go holiday as I never saw them eg Greece Spain Canaries), but as well British, Italian and Polish. I liked that entertainment team was trying to pick any language music to fit taste of all nationality what will never happen in Britain since British stick to English music only. A big thank you for playing polish song while evening disco ❤️ |Rooms always clean and loaded with bottled water and coffee, with great crafts made out of towels it's just something special 👌 |For me a bit let down is people who selling stuff at resort especially those with pictures as they are super nice to convince you to do photo sessions and expect you to buy all of them. They seem never leave you alone until you book session, it's a few guys who will approach you one by another and politely no thank you doesn't work. Hotel should sort them out. As long as I do appreciate being introduced to their offer then I'm finding annoying to be harassed every an hour with someone another offering the same. Once we booked session they left us alone finally but since I didn't want any photo book or anything prepared with photo shop as package it started not to be so nice. On the end I paid for those pictures I liked the most and they were downloaded to my device (no printing, so seriously it's not like they lost any money by printing them out and not being able to sell them). I wanted just 2 pictures to be photoshopped as my daughter back full with straps after sunbathing and I had to ask about doing it twice and heard to come another day. It's disgusting politics cos before booking session it's all seem to be no problem, even discussing price cos let's be honest pricing is kinda high once they see British tourist is like we should pay only with British money which doesn't happen anywhere else, they will accept American dollars but not really happy about Egyptian. |People who introducing SPA part available in resort are super polite, yeas as well pushy and keep coming back with offer but much more flexible about pricing and we made a great deal for Turkish massage (it was an amazing experience ⭐) SPA them it was the only one in the resort who still been super polite and smiley after we book session, passing by every day saying hello and how are you. Something what photographers should learn. Just one guy from photographer team (I don't remember name), orange t-shirt and curly hair with a big eyes a bit red, he done pictures as well while pool parties was someone really positive all the time without putting his attitude on us. All rest should learn from him as is a big off having this attitude on the end. |Guy who selling trips super positive man. Even if we just book trip with someone else he was coming round just to chat general chat about Egypt, couture, life here etc so nice to see there are people who are nice just cos they are nice , not nice just cos they want you to pay for something. |Food in resort is an amazing 😍 my hubby stick with pasta and pizza and burgers at beach bar as him being proper British who just eats very little variety of food (tbh British food is boring for me) so he could tell it was nothing else to eat 🤣🤣🤣🤣 but that British they always winging about food. For me food been an amazing - different type of rice to go with lovely vegetables grilled or in sauce, meat chicken beef all soft and tender, sea food, delicious calamari and shrimps, grilled meat a lot to choose every day. Not mentioning fresh pancakes and waffles and a lot of sweet and dessert. Salads bar and lovely sushi bar 👌 beach bar serving late dinner at 11pm pizza or pasta. Beach bar in total is great place with food pretty much whole day (burgers and pizza are amazing) and stuff working there...

Check in/out-|Hotel is around 15 minutes from the airport. We hired private transport for £26 return for 7 people.|Check in at 1400 and check out 1200. There is late checkout available until 2200 for a fee. We paid £25 for checkout till 1800.||Rooms-|The hotel is set over many different blocks centred around the pool area. Blocks 31-38 were the more quiet end of the hotel away from the beach and late night disco. Room 3209 is where we stayed and had 3 small double beds and sofa.|Shower gel/shampoo/soap bar provided and re stocked throughout our stay. Air con and safe in all rooms free of charge. Kettle with tea/coffee and a mini fridge also. Milk can be be collected from the bars/restaurants for tea making in the rooms. Balcony with 2 chairs and a table. These blocks over look the quiet pool so very minimal noise. ||Location- |This hotel is in the area of Nabq Bay which is 20 mins taxi ride to the main area of Sharm. Outside the hotel there are some small supermarkets, souvenir shops, excursions and restaurants. You can catch a bus directly outside to travel into Sharm/Naama Bay/Sharks bay. Hard rock, McDonald's, KFC and some more souvenir shops are a 30 minute easy walk from the hotel along one road. Taxis can also be flagged down outside the hotel but make sure to agree a price before getting in. You can use an App called InDrive (similar to Uber) for local taxis. A local bus around Nabq should be no more than 5 Egyptian dollars each person, cash only.||Beach- |The hotel is directly on a private beach. The jetty is 1km long with a reef to snorkel at the end. About 1/4 of the way along the jetty is an area roped off where you can swim and snorkel. This is watched by life guards during the hours of swimming. After dark the jetty is closed. The beach is a fine shingle/sand, and I would recommend beach shoes, especially when going into the sea. The sea itself is very shallow, and you can walk some distance while still only be waist height and very minimal waves if any. There is a beach bar which serves both alcohol and non alcoholic drinks, burgers, fries, pizza, and ice cream. Most of the activities from the animation team seem to happen down here. There is volleyball, boccia, darts, zumba and stretching. There are many sun beds, fixed parasols and wind breaks, we had no issues getting any beds. There is a shop on the beach which is cheaper than the one in the hotel. It sells many things from souvenirs, beach shoes, snacks, drinks, and clothing. Card and cash accepted here, and they are open till late. There are toilets and showers also here. ||Pool- |There is one main pool in the middle of the hotel which divides into two. There is a swim up bar which was not open during March, I'm not sure when this opens. There are 2 water slides here. The main pool starts around 60cm and then slops towards the middle by the fountains. There is a children pool as well beside this. I'm not sure if the pools was heated, but we did not find them cold in March. There is a quiet pool between blocks that had a small jacuzzi type area but we did not use this area. The Aqua Park is in a separate area and the slides operate between 1000-1300 and 1500-1700. This consists of smaller slides for younger children and also bigger slides, a lazy river, and a wave pool. There is a drinks bar, but this does not serve alcohol. All the pools have lifeguards, and they are very attentive to the water. There are many beds and parasols around all the pools, although the Aqua Park seemed to fill up very quickly. ||Food/ Drink- |There are three main restaurants where breakfast, lunch and dinner take place. All do the same food and drink. It is a typical all inclusive buffet with meats, soups, salads, rice, pasta and puddings. Each evening is themed. We are fussy eaters and each day never struggled to find food. There are two A La Carte restaurants on site, a Grill and an Italian which can be booked via guest relations in advance. The Grill was very good and was a mixed meat sharing skillet style. The Italian however we did not enjoy and found the food cold however other seemed to enjoy this so maybe we just had a bad night. Drinks wise, again very similar to a typical all inclusive. Local beer and spirits, wine, cocktails/mocktails and fizzy drinks. Some were better then others and this is just personal taste. ||Staff- |We found all the staff to be very helpful and nothing seemed to be to much trouble for them. A smile and manners go a long way. ||This was a very good hotel for the price we paid and also the area. I would...

We recently stayed at the Sea Beach Aqua Park Resort in Sharm El Sheikh during October 2024, and it was a great holiday experience, especially for families.

Very appealing well-placed resort with lots of facilities, and stunning views in all directions. Some noisy and somewhat intrusive renovation work was ongoing during our stay. Thankfully, we couldn’t hear the heavy machinery whilst relaxing by the pool, it was only really an issue when you leave the lobby and walk to the main entrance. Short drive from airport and nearby hotspots. Small shopping areas just outside resort selling touristy-style gifts. Prices varied massively for the same items and not all shopkeepers were welcoming. For buying SUPER cheap snacks, drinks, etc. walk to supermarket called Metro.

Hallways were clean and open, offering great views. If offered ride in the elevator, avoid! Very unsafe. Rooms were mostly clean, and the facilities were as expected. Our safe did not work, and waiting around for security to fix was a waste of time. Cleaners are all male, and there is an expectation of tips if you want anything special.

Additionally, note that the shower inside the bathroom in our room was separated from the bedroom/living area by a lightly frosted glass wall which becomes very transparent when wet, or when a person is close. Do not expect complete privacy in the shower because you won’t get it.

Unfortunately, the food was a bit of a let-down as it was mostly catering for eastern European and middle eastern cuisines. If you are travelling with fussy eaters, you have some difficulties feeding people. Themed nights were interesting, we enjoyed the Egyptian night, where we felt like the hotel provided a proper taste of their culture. There is a bar near the beach that served burgers, pizzas, fries, and ice cream for a few hours every day. A la carte dining experiences were a waste of time. The best thing about the “Grill” was the sunset that evening, as the food itself was bland, portions were small, and food was identical to everything we’d had in the main buffet. Due to our poor experience here, we cancelled our visit to the “Italian”.

Hotel management, if you read this, give Mohamed Awad a pay rise/promotion as he is the lifeblood and backbone of the waiting team. He always made us feel welcome, tried to get us tables together during the busiest periods (as there were 12 of us), and provided table service with drinks and food. Most of all, he was very interactive with us, especially our children. This man’s level of service and approach to us as guests left a lasting positive impact on us.

Some activities we did: • Snorkeling around the pier – COST: FREE (if you have a snorkel) – I cannot overstate this enough, do not miss out on snorkeling off the end of the pier. The wildlife under the surface here is out of this world and you must see it. Expect to see vibrant colors, thousands of fish, and living coral reef. • “Sharm by Night” excursion – COST: £10-20 pp – Avoid at all costs. Complete waste of time and money. Our rep, Bob (Ehab), mis-sold this to us. We complained along with everyone else on the bus as nobody was happy, requested a refund, and received nothing. Sun International were a huge let down here. • “Ras Mohamed Nature Reserve boat trip” excursion – COST: £25-35pp – This really was a beautiful day out and everyone really enjoyed it. Lots of relaxing on a boat in the sun, lots more snorkeling and swimming opportunities, and you can also go diving. • Watersports at the hotel – COST: £Various – We found numerous pushy salesmen at the hotel, selling banana boat experiences, parasailing, submarine rides, speedboat trips and more. Good fun, but they finish very quickly. • Local restaurants – COST: £Various – Food prices at local restaurants were very reasonable for the portions received and the staff were friendly. • “Dune buggies in the desert” excursion – COST: £20-30 pp – Group ride out to the desert to visit the Bedouin villages for tea and camel rides. An overall well-cultured trip, this was a very...

I have been to Egypt 6 times now and love the country but this visit at the Sea Beach Aqua Park Resort has been nothing but what can be described as a ‘holiday from hell’ -Checked in at 1am in the morning following flight delays and still had to wait over an hour for our rooms. Rooms weren’t ready and it was clearly prepared in a rush and having to spend the first night in a filthy room. No food available after the long journey for children or elderly aside cheese and bread. Even made to feel bad for requesting bottled water at the lobby bar despite nothing else being open. Kids were refused water bottles when requested. This set the tone for the vacation. -Despite requesting ground floor rooms at the time of booking (9 months ago) we were given family rooms on the top floor. My elderly mum had to walk up and down those stairs until resolved as did my family with small children (no lifts). -The rooms are in complete disrepair. The air con didn’t work properly through out our visit and was leaking. No chance of a good nights sleep as it is incredibly noisy 24 hours. -Unsafe electrics throughout which was a health and safety concern in addition to ground floor balcony door lock not working and needing fixing. -No wifi in rooms. -No hot water (lukewarm at best. Thankfully wasn’t too much of an issue in this heat) -The room experienced an ants infestation and the nippy cockroach was one that got away. -There is construction works all around the hotel and is a total eyesore. -That’s not the worst of it, this is a nasty hotel with nasty staff including hotel management, with no sense of responsibility towards guests unless you happen to be a person of influence. Staff represent the culture of those at the top. They can make or break a vacation and in this instance it was the latter. -They don’t allow taxis to the reception and it’s a long walk to the main gate (especially for the elderly and families with infants). This is to encourage the use of price inflated in house taxi services. Problem is you rely on 1 buggy to drive people to the main gate causing queues and in-fighting amongst guests. (2 other buggies sitting there unused). My niece was physically pushed on an occasion and despite the buggy driver seeing the whole altercation simply took the side of the rude guest (why I don’t know, actually I do but that might be too controversial to add). When we said a complaint would be made, he shoved his badge in our face and arrogantly said go ahead. -We were a large family and every time we would go for drinks, the moment we asked for more than 3/4 drinks they would refuse unless we kicked up a fuss. My god they treat water bottles like gold dust in this place and anyone would think we were asking for freebies and not paid for an all inclusive packaged holiday. Bar staff in particular were incredibly rude (aside 2). -cutlery including plates and glasses run out on several occasions. No table service, so you just had to wait until they were washed and ready even if it meant you were halfway into a meal. Again queues for drinks all the time when having lunch / dinner. I have never felt that my South Asian heritage would be a factor in the services we received, but this place made me feel just like that. Ignored by staff whilst they served everyone but us. First / second time I let it go, but by the third time I snapped and told them for what it was. Absolutely shocking and couldn’t wait for the holiday to end. We spent extra money on excursions to keep away from the place and i would genuinely urge people not to spend their hard earned money at Sea Beach Aqua Park. If this review stops at least one family or person from going through the experiences we had to deal with, it will have been worth it. The final straw was being asked to move away from a sitting area for all for guests for no good reason citing it was an exclusive area. Raised it with management who apologized but I cannot understand how they allow such open discrimination and quite frankly racism. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

4 of us went here for a week at the beginning of July. When we arrived, the receptionist upgraded us for free to a family suite with 2 bedrooms instead of just 1 family room. It was quite far away from everything and up 2 flights of stairs, we were fine with this, but younger families or people with mobility issues may not have been. The room was a bit shabby and dated, but we hadn't gone away to sit in the room, so we weren't really bothered. The beds were rock hard and took a few nights to get used to. The AC is excellent. There was no bath, just a shower, but again, that was fine. On the first day my daughter was sick in our room, the cleaner was really lovely about it and sorted it out. I gave him a really good tip because I was so grateful. He then returned the next few evenings wanting tips and looking disappointed if it was just £1, he stopped making the towels into animals and on a few occasions we had to get water bottles ourselves and were left with no towels. This didn't bother us, but just be careful with tips because some of the workers expect it. The pools are all absolutely wonderful, the slides are brilliant, and the lifeguards are really on the ball. At busy times, they will find sun beds and bring them to you, which is lovely. The swim up bar is fantastic. In the aqua park there is also a lazy river and a wave pool, we loved the pools. The beach is stunning, but the sand is more of a shale, so take sliders or crocs. We stayed in the shallow part of the sea but could still swim and go snorkelling. The tropical fish are amazing to look at. There's a beach bar and snack bars next to the beach, all the staff there were brilliant and would have a laugh and a joke with you. There was an entertainment area but we didn't really stay and watch many of the shows because we liked going out in the evenings. The food and drink was OK. Breakfast there was always pastries, French toast, a bit of fruit, yoghurt, there was meat and sausages but I didn't try them, some mornings they made fresh omelettes or pancakes. At lunchtime, we went to the snack bar at the beach. They did pizza, burgers, hotdogs, and ice cream. In the evening, they did a few different types of meat or fish, salads, rice, sauces, and freshly made bread. There was also pasta each evening and roast potatoes, chips, nuggets, and gorgeous tiny deserts. I enjoyed the food, but you do get sick of how repetitive it is. I find this in every all-inclusive, though. Alcohol is beer, unbranded spirits, and branded soft drinks. The bar staff will make cocktails for you if you ask. I did miss wine, though. Some of the guests from different countries are very rude. They will step in front of you, shove you out of the way, knock into you, and won't queue. They then glare at you like you've done something really bad. We didn't try the alacarte restaurants. The shops are expensive in the hotel. We wanted a volleyball, and they asked for £20, we got one elsewhere for £5. We took English £ with us, and this was fine. We also wanted a taxi and was quoted £40 in the hotel but got one across the road for £15. There is a golf buggy that drives to and from the main gate because it's a 20-minute walk. One of the drives Ali was absolutely brilliant and always looked after us. We visited soho, Hard Rock Cafe, Arab bucks, McDonald's, and a few shopping precincts. The shops are sometimes a nightmare because you get mithered like crazy. Some of them will try to rip you off, so be very careful.

My family and I have just returned from a 10 day holiday here at this resort, I stupidly read the reviews here days before going & must admit my heart did sink a little however I need not of worried everything about our holiday was fantastic!! Let's start with the rooms I have given this 4 stars due to like previous reviews have said the rooms are starting to show their age a little the door to our balcony was hard to shut due to the handle being loose and the frame slightly bent however once we got the nack to it it was ok the beds are hard as are the pillows the first night I thought there's no way I'm sleeping all week however I actually ended up sleeping better than after night 2 and I think it may of actually helped my back a little! I would suggest to the hotel to start using mattress and pillow protectors for hygiene reasons however the rooms were made up and tidied everyday by the super friendly and kind housekeepers they even seeked us out to give my 4 children inflatable rings and a volley ball previous families had left we tried to tip him upon leaving but he refused to take it genuinely friendly not to expect a tip! We had 2 rooms as we're a large family and both rooms were kept at a good standard we did have a problem with the a/c in 1 room we reported it and went for dinner by the time we returned it had been sorted. The staff are amazing and the level of service from them is incredible nothing is too much trouble they are polite and certainly put up with a lot from some less respectful guests! I unfortunately didn't catch all the names but Hossan at the bar,Syed (spelling maybe incorrect)a waiter in the Orchid restaurant another waiter that served the drinks in the Orchid and another staff member that was everywhere serving ice cream 1 min drinks the next then at the snack bar all of their kindness and service really stood out and left us feeling like we'd made friends and a little bit sad to leave them! However all the staff are polite kind and happy to help! The setting of the hotel is beautiful there's plenty of entertainment for the adults and children in the evening during the day there is a kids club although we didn't use this. The pool is lovely and well kept. The food I thought was great I will certainly miss my seta colas and cakes yes it is a little repetitive but thats only if you have a bit of everything every night which most people do being all inclusive ypu could easily chose something different every night and doughnuts for breakfast what's not to love! The staff from the spa are also lovely my daughter and I had our hair braided and they taught us Arabic which we enjoyed we were then asking for our drinks in Arabic It's plain to see the hotel have seen some of the reviews on here and are working to rectify and improve we were invited to a gala dinner where we asked about our stay or of there were any improvements they could make we were asked a couple of times by staff. All in all i would higly recommend this place and i hope the bosses give credit where its due to their incredible staff!!
