If I can give this place a half ⭐️ I would. YouTuber tropical Pao who is a Salvadorean YouTuber rated this place God send. Well place was terrible. People like her who are paid to go review establishments and hotels on top of the top of the line service and free way will Always give a place full stars. My review is legit and I call it as I see it. Location is great everything around el centro historico is there. Food, shops etc all over the place. Hotel room was terrible but what do you expect for cheap hotel. The place is gated so you constantly have to bother the security guard to let you in and out of the building on top the officer is not happy to be getting up from whatever she’s being entertained on doing on her phone. The lobby the lady again didn’t want to be bothered and was very unfriendly and fake. We got to the room in which was clean and neat on top of the bed 1 1/2 rolls of paper toilet. That’s all you are getting so if you need more go buy it because that’s what we did. The a/c was terrible didn’t work properly, the shower door didn’t close and hot water you have to give it some time for it to warm up. How this idiotic YouTuber tropical pao say it was a breathtaking room I’m confused. Ah let me mention I got the same suite she did. Between 8am and on forget about sleep. With the noise of the market workers etc it’s loud. If you see her video there was no sound meaning she shot her video early in the morning before they arrived to work to make it look as the place has tranquility. I been to so many hotels in El Salvador but this one takes the cake as the worst one yet! Will I ever come back to this hotel 🏨 absolutely not. Don’t believe everything you see on YouTube as these low life’s live of the benefits of there platform and getting free things to give good ratings. Oh btw room service not offered and we had to go to the market to buy a plastic bag to throw away our trash because the room didn’t have and trash barrels.
Stay away...
Read moreFirst of all, the staff was wonderful. I agree that they could improve on a few things, but considering that you’re in a small country that is developing their tourism, the minor issues can be dismissed. The website states parking, but it is a bit confusing to figure out if not explained. The building entrance is difficult to find since they are not permitted to add a lighted sign on their entrance. It’s a black iron door (right before the Super 7 store sign) and you temporarily park there and the door attendant helps with unloading your luggage. Then they provide you with directions on where to park or for us, they very kindly accompanied us to the lot to avoid getting lost. It was TWO blocks away, and very easy to walk to from the hotel. You must keep your ticket to take your car out and not be charged - this is a public lot so the ticket validates you’re with the hotel. Once inside, the rooms are small but it’s acceptable and expected for the price paid and how closely located it is centro historico. The laundry service is not the best, so we avoided that altogether. The bathroom is a decent size and modernized and best of all, has hot water. As in many other hotels in El Salvador, you should not expect to receive hand or wash towels. I travel with my own anyway, since I have visited many hotels in this country. And yes, they do not provide extra toiletries and only 1 bath towel per guest. The room has access to an extended balcony that is shared between many rooms. You are 1 block from it all!! At departure, we walked the two blocks to the parking lot, then parked in front of the gate and the agent helps load the luggage into the car. Easy peasy. Staff was so helpful and friendly; we could have stayed another day, but on to the next wonderful town in El...
