This hotel has some really good points. The staff were very nice and welcoming, the housekeeping was good, my room was comfy and the rooftop lounge bar is excellent with nice food and great views. breakfast offers local food, which is really cool. I particularly liked the coffee bar on the ground floor. The location is good and the airport shuttle is very efficient and much appreciated.

now for some honest feedback, which is meant constructively. To me, it feels like this hotel is very aspirational, but not quite there yet. This is for a few reasons. 1) the hotel has some great facilities. eg a restaurant, but there was no information about them in my room. Giving customers this info about services and how to use them might encourage more people to do so. 2) the hotel advertises it has a sauna and steam room, but as far as I could see, no such thing exists yet. I used the gym, which is mostly functional (some of the machines not working) but it advertises that there is access to trainers. I never saw one. 3) The room was clean and the housekeeping was very efficient - just sometimes the drains smelled quite strongly. 4) There was a notice in the room telling me to put valuables at the front desk in a safety deposit box and to fill in a form for this. I tried, and the receptionist kindly took and cared for my stuff, but told me that I should use the safe in my room, which is weird as I was literally just told not to do that.

Overall, I would be happy to stay again, and with some improvement this hotel could go from...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met.

One staff member who truly stood out was Joseph, a young man with a big smile and an even bigger heart. He would constantly check in on us, asking if we needed anything and running to get it for us without hesitation. His dedication and enthusiasm were truly impressive!

The receptionist was also incredibly kind and helpful, making our check-in process seamless and welcoming. The entire staff was client-focused and hardworking, making us feel like we were the only guests.

The ambience of the hotel was lovely, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. From the decor to the lighting, everything was perfectly curated to create a relaxing and comfortable environment.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful stay with exceptional service.

Thank you to Joseph and the entire staff for making our stay so memorable!" 5/5 stars!

To the management, Joseph is an employee you need to retain here . Do everything, anything to retain him including a salary...

Came here to spend time with my wife but it’s been a Friday. On the 2nd day there is a leak in the room and we have to change and I got no help with the bags or direction to what room so I repack everything and head back down to the lobby and they give me a key to the new room which wasn’t ready. No t.v., no towels, room hasn’t been cleaned.

This is a no smoking hotel and the bathroom is filled with the smell of cigarette smoke regularly coming from another floor. And there’s a constant smell of sewage water coming from the toilet. Disgusting.

I have a restricted diet and I can’t eat the hotel food. All the juices are watered down and not good plus the food safety is questionable. I got approved from the building manager to bring in food yet everyday we bring food we are stopped by security until the front desk convinces them we can or we have to hunt down a building manager yet again which has killed the entire experience. No one wants to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes or more waiting because they didn’t let security know and we have to constantly let them know we are approved to bring in food.

Will definitely not be coming back. Huge lack of professionalism from hotel staff minus front desk clerks and...

This is a review of the rooftop bar/lounge at this hotel. Located on the top two floors of the hotel (floors 13 and 14), the lounge is lively and has some live music (on both occasions that I went there). But, they have a weird policy that doesn’t allow you to sit by the window (where you can enjoy the best views of Addis) if you do not order at least half a bottle of some spirit. If you only drink beer, you have to be content with the seats away from the windows. They do not serve hot drinks and won’t give you soft drinks if you do not also order food! It didn’t matter in the end as the rain and wind meant that no one wanted to sit by the windows. About the beer, I asked for the beer glasses to be put in the fridge but was told that’s not possible. So it wasn’t as cold as I wanted it. We ordered potato chips as one of us wasn’t drinking. What came was perhaps the worst chips that I have ever tasted. It was bland and ketchup that accompanied it looked like it was mixed with water - it separated into two bits after 30 with some watery bit on top of it. It was disgusting- do not order it! The best bit about the roof top was the band. They were very good.

I am writing this review in the middle of the night (3 am): I can not sleep because of the noise caused by the building site located at the bottom of the hotel. Update: the day after, one of the manager made an agreement and the night works stopped. The hotel is very near to the center but it is literally in the middle of a building site. Apparently there is not a law that forbid to work during night time and the noise is tremendous. Me and my colleague could not sleep for an entire night. The elevator was broken at least 2 times during our stay (8 nights) and we had to use the stairs. This is how we found out that that the hotel is basically a work in progress building (lower floor). Do not include breakfast. I booked the hotel with the breakfast included but it is not an international breakfast. They offer mostly traditional food (which honestly I do like but not for breakfast) and it is not absolutely like in the photos on Google maps. I had to buy breakfast and eat in my room. Last but not least, we payed for a room with the park view and we got rooms with the building site view.
