Unity Park Zoo — Attraction in Addis Ababa

I went to the park with my family! I appreciate the initiative to promote the history of Ethiopia and various cultures in the country. I have observed different indigenous plants and animals that actually imitates the Ethiopian botanical and zoological features. I appreciate also the various services that have been setup to serve the participants almost at equivalent costs which are being offered in town. I hope other additional services like SPA are to be available in the future. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Addis!

Entry tickets cost $20 per person.

Outside food and drinks are not allowed, but you can purchase them near the zoo entrance.

While the park has fewer animals, the ones present—such as black lions, African lions, giraffes, and zebras—are worth seeing.

A visit of around five hours is more than enough to explore the entire park.

Beautiful park and very clean grounds. They have two prices one for foreigner 20$ and one for Ethiopian 5$. Big difference and not worth the 20$. Location is not correct on Google map and leads you to no entrance zone. They have 7 animals in total including one lion and one lioness so I wouldn’t class it as a zoo.
