I went to the park with my family! I appreciate the initiative to promote the history of Ethiopia and various cultures in the country. I have observed different indigenous plants and animals that actually imitates the Ethiopian botanical and zoological features. Outside food and drinks are not allowed, but you can purchase them near the zoo entrance.

While the park has fewer animals, the ones present—such as black lions, African lions, giraffes, and zebras—are worth seeing.

Beautiful park and very clean grounds. They have two prices one for foreigner 20$ and one for Ethiopian 5$. Big difference and not worth the 20$. Location is not correct on Google map and leads you to no entrance zone. They have 7 animals in total including one lion and one lioness so I wouldn’t class it as a zoo. It’s more like a park only with museums and animals so don’t think you’re going to a “zoo”. It is beautiful park with interesting museum and it’s a 1-2hr activity.
