I have just stayed for 4 nights as I had business nearby.
I was very disappointed with my stay. The price was very cheap so I was not expecting luxury, but even so there is a lot that could be done.
The main positive is the greay location, close to public transport links. Entry was easy with a code texted to me, no fuss, simple.
The building is quite dingy inside. The small lobby was dirty with a pile of broken tvs in the corner. One day someone had left food containers strewn in the lobby.
I had a single room. It did not look like the photos as advertised. The bed linen, curtains and walls were different than pictured. There was a smell of stale cigarettes in the room.
The room itself was very small, though I was expecting this, and was genrally clean, but lacked attention to detail. The wall/panel under the counter top was covered in food stains, for example. The bathroom is a wetroom and was clean, but there was a bad smell from the drain.
The pillows on the bed were lumpy and formless, not comfortable at all!
There is automatic air-conditioning, which you have no control over. I found it sufficient.
The TV had no service. There were 2 plates and a dish and a set of cutlery, 1 cup, 1 glass. There was no bowl. The crockery was chipped.
They provided washing up liquid, sponges and a dish brush to wash dishes, but the only place to wash the dishes was in the sink in the bathroom, which was too small for this. I was not provided with a towel to dry the dishes and there is nowhere to stand dishes to dry, so I had to use my hand towel. They provided ample amouts of bags for the bin at least.
Laundry was not replaced during my stay.
I think for a cheap one night stay, this place is adequate, but is not suitable for anything longer. I would...
Read moreI am currently staying at Forenom during a business trip, and unfortunately, my experience has been deeply disappointing.
Upon arrival, I was given the wrong room—despite booking a studio, I was placed in a small single room that felt more like a prison cell than a space meant for rest. The room lacked even the most basic comforts, including no air conditioning, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable.
The cleanliness was unacceptable. There was visible mould growing in the bathroom, and the shared kitchen was consistently dirty, which raised serious hygiene concerns. I was provided with only one towel for the entire duration of my stay, and there was no room cleaning at any point. To make matters worse, guests are expected to take out their own trash upon checkout—a task that should not fall on paying customers, especially in a supposedly serviced accommodation.
I booked this hotel expecting a functional and reasonably comfortable place to stay while attending to professional commitments. Instead, I was met with a depressing, poorly maintained environment that only added stress to an already demanding trip.
Forenom may advertise itself as a practical solution for travelers, but in my experience, it completely failed to deliver even the most fundamental standards. I would strongly caution others—especially business travelers—before...
Read moreIt's been an absolute disgrace to live and experience this place.
We are a crew of 11 people - here for work trip and we booked studio apartments payed for that and we were given single bedded rooms (to be precise a jail cell)
Room Conditions - The most unhygienic place I have ever visited, where the hotel/jail expects us to use same towels and bed sheets for the days we are living - no chance of having clean ones
Hotel Environment - Being in Finland one can expect to be always in safe surroundings, this seems the most junky hotel. Complete opposite of being safe.
There are moles in the rooms - I hope Finnish health and safety gets to read this and block this stay for the well being of actual humans who are clean and hygiene.
Mold in the room, no heating in the rooms, no bath cover, windows dont open, bugs in the room, smelly public areas. A pure example of cross contamination.
They do have 24x7 calling line - but never answers, no one to help or sort issues.
What they advertise on their booking the stay is completely opposite to that, FALSE ADVERTISEMENT (RIPPING THE CLIENTS)
If you're a junky please book this place, but if you are a human and a hygienic one dont even bother. or if you intend to get mental and physically ill then...
